Wanderings Coloring Book

$15.00
This unique book is the perfect gift for a friend, child or yourself. Birthday, Christmas, road trip, hospital stay, all great times to color. Or maybe you are under a little stress? Coloring is an all nature stress reliever.
This creation is 50 pages of original, hand drawn, artwork by Julie Warner Adams. It is printed on heavy, bright white - 8.5 x 11 inch paper, perfect for crayons, markers, colored pencils or other medias. The convenient comb binding allows for the pages to neatly lay flat out of the way of your coloring. The pages can easily be removed for you to display your finished art. The covers are full bright colors with a glossy laminated finish for stronger wear.

About Wanderings. . .
They say, through all bad things, good comes. This book is one of those good things. In June of 2008, a historic flood hit much of the Midwest. I work at the hospital in Columbus, Indiana, which was one of the areas hardest hit. The hospital was damaged so severely it was forced to close for five months for repairs and during that time, my normal job no longer existed. This created a summer of change.
For the first time in quite a while, I had time on my hands. I had time to sit, think, daydream, and draw. I used this time to rekindle my life long love of doodling, letting designs flow, making up people and places, and cartooning.I spent hours upon hours letting my mind wander and letting my marker to go as it chose. The characters each began with a pair of eyes and then I moved on to define what kind of people they belonged to. The designs are all drawn free hand, with not a straight line to be found.
This book has been made for all ages. Children and adults can enjoy relaxing and coloring for hours. As a mother of 5, I value anything that promotes imagination and is stress free, portable, quiet, and requires no gas or batteries.
I come from an artistic family and live with my husband, Doug, and our children (see if you can spot them in the book) in Nineveh, Indiana. I hope you enjoy "Wanderings".
Julie Warner Adams
