Having lived in Germany in my 20s I remember the first time I saw the Danube River. The view was from the spire of a church and I couldn't wait to see it at eye level. We had a picnic of peanuts, peaches, wine and bread along the bank.

This painting was done entirely with palette knife so is highly textured and impressionsitic. There is a village stairstepping down the hill to the river. Rich hues of blue, purple, sage, olive, and viridian were used.

The piece is done on canvas panel, so a frame will be needed. Lightly varnished for protection.

I broke my right arm in April and couldn't stand the thought of not being able to paint. After 2 weeks, it suddenly dawned on me that I could still paint with my left hand; I just had to let go of any expectations and just enjoy whatever happened.

So here it is, after a horrible struggle that was strangely enjoyable - go figure! #2 in the series!

This adorable sundress dates to the 1960s. I wore this when I was in high school and haven't been able to let it go - until now! If I remember correctly, I was about a size 7 or 9 at that time.

Cleaning out the closets and it has to say goodbye!

Top is white with crochet lace trim, has bust darts and is lined.

Skirt is sweet pink and white checks with an embroidered star embellishment, zips up the back and has a tie on the inside.

Vintage Stained Glass Reverse Applique Tulip Quilt 1977 OOAK

I made this one-of-a-kind quilt using a pattern from a Family Circle magazine in the late 1970s. I gained great respect for people who do this kind of work and swore I would never do it again!

Brilliant colors (orange, green, red, pink, black); soft cotton (maybe polyester blend?) fabric with light polyester batting, stitched in reverse applique; back side is a very light yellow.

Apx 73" x 91", shown on a queen size bed.

The quilt has never been used, stored all this time in a zippered quilt bag. It is in excellent condition - no stains, no tears, ready to use.

Asking $275 but will entertain offers.

I owned a 2-story Victorian home in the 1980s and did my best to furnish it with authentic antiques. This was one of my first purchases and it served me well in the parlor for many years.

Having moved to a small 1920s bungalow, I no longer have room for many of my antiques - so it's time for this to go! Perhaps someone out there can give the love it deserves.

I don't know exactly how old it is, but it's definitely authentic and has afew scuffed places on it. If you really wanted to disguise the marred spots (not recommended, by the way), they could be covered with black shoe polish. Glass is intact.

An antique dealer friend appraised this piece at $325 and possibly more. I am willing to negotiate.

The inspiration for this painting was the pain of loneliness after the loss of a 7 year love affair. It depicts the stark interior of an old Victorian house, a pile of books by the bed to occupy my mind.

This is a reproduction print of the original oil painting sold in 2003 to an interior design firm. It has a small white border and is suitable for an 8x10 frame. Printed on high quality matte stock for a rich look.
