$58.00
This sunny little figure would brighten any day. She would dearly love a chance to brighten yours.

She stands about 5 1/2" (14.5cm) and is about 3 1/2" (9.5cm) wide.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. Days in the making each one grows into a being with its own personality.

Standing and flying dolls have a loop attached to hang them, from a shelf edge, a tree branch or where ever you would like a little magic

While they do make excellent holiday decorations, they much prefer to be on display all year round. They are for display only, they are not made to stand up to children’s play or contact with chewing pets.

Quilter’s cottons and batiks are my favorite materials for bodies and I use new polyfil to firmly stuff them, occasionally for long thin limbs I will also use chenille stems. The faces are drawn/painted on with prisma color pencils, fabric dye pens, Lumiere paints and 3d Crystal Lacquer to give dimension and shine to their eyes. Their poses are fixed.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some fairy magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.

$16.00
My sweet little water maiden, a brighter companion I challenge you to find. She always seems to be perky and a bit pert, just the ticket when you are feeling a bit down. Do you or someone you know have a place in your life for a sweet creature who asks nothing of you but a place to hang and bring you cheer?

Hinewai is 3 ¾” (9.5cm) long and 2” (5cm) from the back of her crest to her snout.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. This is particulary true of my seahorses as each one is drawn directly onto the fabric and I never use any pattern for them. Each one takes several hours to make and in that time develops into a being with its own personality.

The seahorses have a loop attached to hang them, from a shelf edge, a tree branch or where ever you would like a little color, whimsy, and magic.

The make excellent decorations, where ever you want a spot of color or character. They are for display only, they are not made to stand up to children’s play or contact with chewing pets.

Hinewai is made from batiked quilter's cotton.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.

All seahorses can be made into a pin doll, for an extra $1.00. Convo me if you would like me to add a pin back.
Was she doing a dance to encourage spring and the birth of new plants and flowers or just celebrating a day of feeling really good or to cheer herself or someone else up? Maybe a bit of all of those and maybe for some other reason she just has not revealed to me. What I am sure of is that she will bring a bit of color and joy into someone's world, all she needs is for someone to adopt her and welcome her sweet face into their lives.

She is approximately 4" (10cm) tall (seated) and approximately 6 3/4" (17cm) from toe to toe.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. The generous length of these elegant pearl, crystal and silver earrings allows for a lot of swing. The playful movement of these earrings is sure to catch many an eye. I love the subtle coloring of these freshwater pearls, the iridescent shimmer over the lilac blues and white are set off with a touch of sparkle provided by the Swarovski crystals. They are a versatile choice for many outfits , from casual to elegant evening wear.

They are 3 3/8" (8.5cm) long from the top of the sterling silver lever backs to the bottom of the last pearl.

His area of expertise is mostly trees, but his knowledge of general plant lore is highly respected among the fae community. When in the right mood he will happily lecture for ages on the minutiae of the life of the birch tree, his personal favorite topic. Come to think of it that may be why his legs have taken on the look of birch bark. I can’t promise that you will be able to hear his lectures, but if you adopt him and observe him closely you never know what just might happen.

He is approximately 5 1/4" (13cm) tall and 2" (5cm) wide.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. They are for display only, they are not made to stand up to children’s play or contact with chewing pets.

Like the other brownie dolls he is all handpainted, the base color is beige and the his lower half was carefully painted to mimic birch bark.

Quilter’s cottons and batiks are my favorite materials for bodies and I use new polyfil to firmly stuff them, occasionally for long thin limbs and fingers I will also use chenille stems. The faces are drawn/painted on with prisma color pencils, fabric dye pens, Lumiere paints and 3d Crystal Lacquer to give dimension and shine to their eyes. It will stand on a table or shelf adding a touch of whimsy and humor to any room it inhabits.

Her endearing face imparts a sense of peace while the sparkle in her eyes makes you think there is something more there as well. What do you see? What might she bring to you, or to someone you love?

We are undecided why Crisiant has metal wing with gears, and a halo largely composed of gears. Is she a junior angel who has not yet earned her wings but is substituting as a light bearer? Her steampunk inspired wings may be the trainee wings for those who have yet to earn their own. I am sure that anyone looking at her long enough could come up with as many questions or explanations and enjoy the process in doing so.

Crisiant is approximately 9” (24cm) tall and 4” (12cm) wide from hand to hand.

Her steampunk inspired lantern was carved and painted by my mother Dorothy and I embellished it further with watch gears.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. Days in the making each one grows into a being with its own personality.

Standing and flying dolls have a loop attached to hang them, from a shelf edge, a tree branch or where ever you would like a little magic.

They make excellent decorations all year round. They are for display only, they are not made to stand up to children’s play or contact with chewing pets.

Their poses are fixed.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some fairy magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.
Once upon a time the skies were dark at night, and it was commanded that there be light. Well, some things don’t just happen because they are commanded to. Even the gods need helpers. Aster is one of those helpers, but she’s due for a break, eternity is too long a time to work without any vacations. Unlike poor mortals time moves differently for the fae, so our mere 2 week vacation would feel like a coffee break, Aster’s vacation should last many, many years. So, if you choose to bring her into your home/office do not fear that she will be recalled in your lifetime, she will be with you, bringing her special light into your world for a long time to come.

Aster is 4 ¼” (11cm) tall (seated) and 4” (10cm) wide.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. Each strand is made up of a richly colored mix of pearls in white, peach, lime and sage green, burgundy, and a few butter yellow. In addition to the pearls there’s a sprinkling of gold plated beads and a generous mix of garnets, amber, citrine, peridot and carnelian.

The necklace is 20” (cm) long; the pendant adds 1 ¾” (4.5 cm)
I personally find him to be so ugly as to come back around to cute again. Inspired by the illuminations of Joris Hofeneagle (a 16th century Flemish painter) I've started a series of grotesque faces of which Higwort is the first to be completed.

This is not a print it is the product of my hands. The image is approximately 1 1/2" (4cm) x 2 1/2" (6cm); the frame is 3 1/2" (9cm) x 4 1/4" (11cm). It will stand on a table or shelf but also has a ribbon loop if you would rather hang in on a wall or use it as a holiday ornament.

She longs for a more comfortable life, for a home here among the mortals. Where she can hint at the mysteries of the heavens, and maybe inspire someone to look out beyond their comfortable world to new horizons.

Approximately 9" (23cm) and 3" (8cm) wide.

While they do make excellent holiday decorations, they much prefer to be on display all year round. They are for display only, they are not made to stand up to children’s play or contact with chewing pets.

Sunniva is adorned in strings and strings of glass beads. While they add sparkle, depth of color and movement, they are also potentially swallowable by curious little people. Therefore she must be for display only, and preferably out of reach of children.

Quilter’s cottons and batiks are my favorite materials for bodies and I use new polyfil to stuff them. Her face was drawn/painted on with prisma color pencils, fabric dye pens, Lumiere paints and 3d Crystal Lacquer to give dimension and shine to their eyes. Their poses are fixed.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some fairy magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.
Deep teal and soft as butter, he just calls out to be touched. His eyes twinkle darkly with a touch of mystery and intrigue. No matter what we do we have yet to delve into the secrets he seems to be holding. Maybe you would have more luck.

Berle is approximately 4" (10.5cm) long from the top of his crest to the bottom of his tail, and 2" (5cm) from snout to the back of his crest.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.

All seahorses can be made into a pin doll, for an extra $1.00. She has her feathery head piece and tutu all ready and is posed in her favorite position, one in which I personally could never get into. Maybe what she longs for is not so much a circus but just a change of abode. Legend has it that his forbearer of the same name helped bring civilization to mankind. This little merboy is not yet ready to assume the burden of any such tasks, though he would be very much up to some smaller tasks. Maybe he could open a window into a magical world and show his new family a glimpse of the merworld?

He is approximately 3 1/2" (8.5cm) tall and 3" (7cm) from hand to hand.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. Days in the making each one grows into a being with its own personality.

Merfolk have a loop attached to hang them, from a shelf edge, a tree branch or where ever you would like a little magic.

They make excellent decorations all year round. They are for display only, they are not made to stand up to children’s play or contact with chewing pets.

Their poses are fixed.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some fairy magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.
Mrinalika brings a sense of wonder with her where ever she goes. She Never ceases to marvel at the magic of simple things, the beauty of a bare tree in winter, the joy of the first misting of green as buds begin to appear in spring, the glorious cooling shady canopy of green in the summer months and the awe inspiring aray of colors produced in the autumn. Her attire speaks to those autumnal colors, but she bears a beaded posy that speaks to each of the seasons.

There are days that I just can't get outside long enough to really appreciate the wonders of nature. They are for display only, they are not made to stand up to children’s play or contact with chewing pets.

Fuschia is made from batiked quilter's cotton.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.

All seahorses can be made into a pin doll, for an extra $1.00. Uiara, is gentle in her colors and expression, yet, I suspect that there is more to her deep within. Maybe it is a sense of peace and tranquility, that she can share with her companions. That is a power that many of us wish to have or to have in those near us. Maybe she is a gateway to some strengths you have hidden with in you. Who knows? These are things that you might like to explore together.

Uiara is 3 3/4" (9.5cm) long and is 1 5/8" (4cm) from snout to crest.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. As he has roamed the lands he's been a helper to all kinds of creatures, large and small, his particular favorites are horses and ponies. In the course of his travels he has also been a tender of plants, what a handy little fellow he has been. Alas, he has wearied of always being on the move and is ready to find a home. Which could be a happy turn of events for anyone who would appreciate his funny face and kind eyes as company.

He is approximately 4" (10.5cm) tall and 2 1/2" (7cm) wide.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. They are for display only, they are not made to stand up to children’s play or contact with chewing pets.

Like the other brownie dolls he is all handpainted, the base color is beige and the brown bark like pattern on his lower half is a mix of lumiere fabric paints, as are his green hands.

Their poses are fixed.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some fairy magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.

$66.00
Love is timeless and the fae know that, but humans seem to feel that Valentines Day is the time to make a show of it. Lempi is sitting down after that busy season, but knows that anytime is a good time to show someone how much you love them. Sweet little Lempi has no sleeves to wear her heart on, so she proudly displays her heart over her chest.

Let her bring some love into the life of someone you care for or just for yourself.

She sits 4 1/4"(12.5cm) tall and is 4 1/4" (11cm) wide.

Their poses are fixed.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some fairy magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.
There are so many kinds of love, and many of us forget to express it. Take an opportunity today to tell those you love just how much they mean to you.

This timeless quote from 1st Corinthians spoke to me and Christian or not, I think it speaks well of how we should approach love and loving.

The image area is roughly 4x6" (10x16cm) and is in an 8x10" (20.5x 25.5cm) matt. I have accented the matt opening with a fine line of gold gouache. It is ready to be popped into a standard 8x10 frame of your choice and displayed.

Those blues can be so deep you feel you could almost reach out and touch them, swim in them or paint with them.

Some of that color has been captured by mother nature in the form of lapis lazuli. These drop shaped lapis beads are a tantalizing ultramarine blue with golden speckles and tiny veins catching the light. To further accent those bright sparks I've added gold filled beads. They swing playfully from gold filled shepherd's hook earwires.

They are 1 1/4" (4cm) long.

As she seeks to observe our world what flights of fancy will she take you on, as you gaze at her and imagine the world she has left behind her?

Rudabeh is 6 1/4" (16cm) tall and 3" (7.5cm) across the widest part of her fluke.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. He is an imaginative wee fellow, who inspires a sense of whimsy and wonder to his friends and family.

Hampton is 2 1/2" (6cm) long and 1 1/2" (3.5cm) fron nose to edge of his crest.

Hampton is made from batiked quilter's cotton.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.

All seahorses can be made into a pin doll, for an extra $1.00.
Inas (ooak steampunk inspired fae art doll)

$155.00
Once upon a time in a land not so like (or is that unlike?) our own, there were people who used steam to generate their power. Like us they yearned to fly, and found a way, yet they never invented a jet engine. Imagination can take you almost anywhere and anywhen, where will yours take you next? Luckily for Inas their fae, like ours, can fly using their own steam. Will she fly to you? I wonder...

Inas is my first Steampunk inspired fairie, her attire is permanently attached to her, as are her accessories. Some of the gears have serrated edges and would not be appropriate for small children to handle.

She is approximately 9 ½” (24cm) tall, and 2 ½” (6.5cm) across the shoulder (slightly puffed sleeves) her skirt wants to be about 7” (17cm) across, but will fold up smaller or spread wider depending on how she is displayed.

Their poses are fixed.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some fairy magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.
Well, they are my one of my favorite "stones" to work with. The interplay of light and color over the surface of a pearl is so magical, so mysterious I can never get enough of them. A single strand of pearls is one of the most elegant choices in the world of jewelry, but sometimes we long for something with a bit more punch, a bit more whimsy, something that is both elegant and fun.

Combining a variety of sizes and shapes of white and peacock, silver and iris pearls this three strand necklace this necklace is both elegant and amusing at the same time.

The shortest strand is 21 1/2" (55cm), and the longest strand is 27" (68.5cm) long.

Many of us could only imagine being able to put our bodies in such a position, Amaranta actually loves hanging out like this. Unfortunately more of us suffer from a less obvious form of inflexibility. My husband calls it "cognitive rigidity" the inability to open your mind up to possibilities you had not considered before. Like the possibility that fairies are real and are all around us. Whether or not you believe in fairies Amaranta would be a lovely addition to your world. Maybe her presence in your life will help you remember to keep your mind and your heart open.

Amaranta is approximately 4" (11.5cm) tall, well from the ground to the highest point in this position, and 7" (18cm) from toe to toe.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. Eloisa rejoices in her ability to bend so far. She's an inspiration to me, she reminds me that in life being able to bend and flex (body and mind) is something to aspire to. Being rigid seldom brings joy into our lives, being able to look at the world from other positions and other perspectives can be liberating and bring you unexpected joys. Couldn't we all use a bit more joy in our lives?

Eloisa is 2 1/4" (5.5cm) tall (well, that's the distance from the ground to the point highest up in that position), 2" (5cm) wide and 6 1/4" (16cm) from toe to toe.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. She is a firey spirit who brightly proclaims her personality to any and all who come near her. No one will confirm this, but I think she is really a sun spirit that has been sent here to earth to bring some of her own warm personality to those of us who need a little warmth and a little more light and color in our lives.

Aydan is holding a lantern hand carved and painted by my mother.

She sits 4" (10cm) tall and is 6 1/4" (16cm) from toe to toe.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. Days in the making each one grows into a being with its own personality.

They make excellent decorations all year round. They are for display only, they are not made to stand up to children’s play or contact with chewing pets.

Their poses are fixed.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some fairy magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.

Even trolls, who sometimes deservedly have a bad reputation, want a hug occasionally. The trolls who have taken refuge with me all seem to be of the nonviolent, peace loving types. They were being shunned by their more common less pleasant brethren. Vidkun is no exception, he would so much like a home he can call his own, not one he has to share with an angry mob of trolls, or even the motley crew that has been assembled here in my studio. Can you find a place in your heart or your home for such a character?

Vidkun is 5 1/4" (13cm) tall, 6 1/2" (16cm) wide, and 5" (14cm) from front to back.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. Normally brownies live to be helpful, I can't tell if Phouf just never takes time to fix his own hair, of if he likes it that way, or if someone has angered him and instead of turning into a boggart and becoming malicious he just redirected his frustrations into his hair. What ever his story he's just adorable and waiting for a home to call his own.

He measures approximately 2 1/2" (6.5cm) from head to toe (add roughly another 1 1/2" or 3cm for the hair), and is 1 1/2" (3cm) wide.

Like the other brownie dolls he is all handpainted, the base color is beige and the purple attire is a mix of lumiere fabric paints.

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. If Elizabeth Bennet knew about steampunk I think she might look a bit like this.

Eveleen is 9 ¼” (24cm) tall, and 4” (10.5cm) from finger tip to fingertip.

Their poses are fixed.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some fairy magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.
He makes no demands on his companions, but is always ready to listen and offer his own brand of comfort.

His arms are wired and so are gently poseable, at the moment his arms are poised for a hug.

He is 6" (16cm) tall and 5" (12cm) wide (width depends on how the arms are posed).

All of my dolls are OOaK (one of a kind) made from patterns of my own design, no 2 are ever alike. Their poses are fixed.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some fairy magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.

$18.00
I have to admit Yousuke is one of my favorite seahorses. At first, his sparkly exterior made my kids think he was a show off, but he seems to be content to quietly watch and wonder. His name means ocean meditation; I think he would rather just hang about and ponder the deepest mysteries of life than parade himself in front of admiring crowds. Do you have a quiet place that this amusing little fellow would fit in?

Yousuke is 3 ¾” (10cm) long and 2” (5cm) wide.

Yousuke is made from batiked quilter's cotton.

Her favorite thing to paint is flowers. She does not actually paint pictures of flowers, rather she is in charge of giving blue bells, violets and violas their colors.

She is approximately 7 1/2" (16cm) tall and 5" (13cm) wide.

While they do make excellent holiday decorations, they much prefer to be on display all year round. They are for display only, they are not made to stand up to children’s play or contact with chewing pets.

Their poses are fixed.

All it takes is an invitation from you to join your family and this delightful little character will be happy to come spread some fairy magic and joy in your home, though sometimes they feel a bit mischievous they seldom act on such impulses.
