Merino Wool Yarn in Lime Green Twist

This 100% merino wool yarn is one of the more interesting yarns I've run across lately. When I got it, it was a uniform cream color. The second I dropped it in my dye pot, though, the magic started... one of the four plies absorbed the dye faster than the other three, so it is darker and gives the entire skein a subtle tweedy effect.

This skein weighs 4 ounces and is roughly 280 yards. It is *NOT* superwash, so it can felt/full/shrink. Hand wash gently in cool water and lay flat to dry. 11 wpi, DK weight.

This yarn is hand-dyed in my smoke-free cat-friendly home in the USA. After I'm done with the dyeing and packaging process, the yarn is stored in plastic bags to keep it away from my cats and their fur, but if you have allergies please take proper precautions.

The Details

1. Each skein will be at least 100 grams; yardage will vary based on the type of yarn. It could be wool, superwash wool, alpaca, bamboo, mohair, or some combination thereof. It might be an almost solid kettledyed colorway, or a multicolored hand-painted type. It might be worsted, DK, fingering/sock, or laceweight. You can choose to let me run wild when combining these options, or you can give me some guidance as to what characteristics you do or do not like.

2. Club shipments will go out on or near the 15th of each month. Your subscription will start the month after you subscribe (those who subscribe in May will receive their first shipment in June, etc).

3. Club members are entitled to a 10% discount on any items purchased from me between club shipments. You'll receive details once you subscribe.

4. I want you to be happy with the yarns you receive. When you subscribe, I'll send you an email questionnaire in which you can tell me all about your favorite (and least favorite) colors, which weight (gauge) of yarn you use the most, what type of things you like to make with yarn, and you can also alert me to any fiber allergies you have so that I can make sure the yarn I make for you is safe for you!

5. Shipments within the US will ship via USPS Priority Mail. Shipments to countries other than the US will be sent First Class. All shipping fees are included in this listing; once you pay for this, that's all - you won't owe any further money.

6. Subscriptions shipped to North Carolina are subject to sales tax. Tax will be automatically included when you check out through PayPal.

Superwash Merino and Bamboo-Rayon Yarn in Hazelnut Mocha

Deep browns from espresso to chocolate, and some lighter nutty golden brown tones.

If you want some luxurious socks, this is the yarn for you. The blend of merino wool and rayon made from bamboo is very silky-soft, and has a bit of a sheen to it. The superwash wool means it is washable and won't shrink/felt/full, and rayon made from bamboo makes it a little cooler for all-season wear.

This skein weighs 4 oz and is roughly 500 yards. It's 65% superwash merino wool and 35% bamboo, and size 2-4 needles are recommended, although I got pleasant results on needles anywhere from a 0 to a 6; it just depends on what you're making.

This yarn is hand-dyed in my smoke-free cat-friendly home in the USA. After I'm done with the dyeing and packaging process, the yarn is stored in plastic bags to keep it away from my cats and their fur, but if you have allergies please take proper precautions.

This one of a kind yarn originated as a batt from simplytwisted.etsy.com. It's white wool with liberal doses of sparkle in just about every color of the rainbow. The yarn is 2-ply; one ply has the warm colors in it (red, pink, orange, yellow) and the other has the cool colors (blue, green, violet) so there's a good mix of colors throughout the skein. It really is sparkly - I tried my best, but photos just don't do justice to the sparkle and shine!

This 100% merino wool yarn is one of the more interesting yarns I've run across lately. When I got it, it was a uniform cream color. The second I dropped it in my dye pot, though, the magic started... one of the four plies absorbed the dye faster than the other three, so it is darker and gives the entire skein a subtle tweedy effect.

This skein weighs 4 ounces and is roughly 280 yards. It is *NOT* superwash, so it can felt/full/shrink. Hand wash gently in cool water and lay flat to dry. 11 wpi, DK weight.

Handspun Wool Art Yarn in Emerald City 1 - 80 yds

This highly textured art yarn is spun very thick and thin from a vibrant mix of green and yellow Merino and Corriedale wool with a lot of sparkly firestar and angelina fibers, then plied with rayon thread. It weighs 34 grams and measures 80 yards. It averages out to roughly 6 WPI but the variation in thickness is so great that I hesitate to classify it by that measurement.

Please note that this is *NOT* superwash wool so it needs to be gently hand-washed in cool water and dried flat unless felting is your intent.

Superwash Merino and Bamboo-Rayon Yarn in Navy Blue

65% superwash merino wool / 35% rayon made from bamboo
4 oz / approximately 500 yards
22 WPI
Navy blue. This yarn is almost entirely solid in color, but there are some very subtle highlights and lowlights.

If you want some luxurious socks, this is the yarn for you. The blend of merino wool and rayon made from bamboo is very silky-soft, and has a bit of a sheen to it. The superwash wool means it is washable and won't shrink/felt/full, and rayon made from bamboo makes it a little cooler for all-season wear.

Size 2-4 needles are recommended, although I got pleasant results on needles anywhere from a 0 to a 6; it just depends on what you're making.

This yarn is hand-dyed in my smoke-free cat-friendly home in the USA. After I'm done with the dyeing and packaging process, the yarn is stored in plastic bags to keep it away from my cats and their fur, but if you have allergies please take proper precautions.

This is a soft, squooshy 2-ply mill-end wool and mohair yarn in bubblegum pink and sky blue twisted together. The mohair gives it just a touch of subtle sheen. Mill-end wool is perfectly good fiber that the machines in big factories can't use because it's in pieces too small, thick, thin, or uneven to feed through automatically. This yarn is incredibly soft and has a nice drape. It's spun from pure black alpaca and shots of recycled sari silk in bright pink, yellow, and orange, then plied with hot pink cotton thread. Peruvian Highland Wool Bulky Yarn in Smooshed Bumblebee

This 100% Peruvian Highland wool yarn is ideal for felting. It has been dyed using professional acid dyes.

I hand-painted this yarn yellow with black accents and intended to name it "Bumblebee". However, the dyes decided not to stay put the way they usually do...hence the name.

Hand wash and dry flat. This yarn is NOT superwash and will felt if not treated with care.

The yarn is made in Peru, and is hand-dyed in my smoke-free cat-friendly home in the USA. After I'm done with the dyeing and packaging process, the yarn is stored in plastic bags to keep it away from my cats and their fur, but if you have allergies please take proper precautions.
