In a 1936 Letter to C.L. Moore, one of America's first female Science Fiction writers, H.P. Lovecraft described his loathing for Republicans. While times have changed, it appears that criticisms of Republicans haven't changed much. No matter what your political leanings, Lovecraft's particularly enthusiastic insults read like one of his works of Cosmic Horror, making this a must-own for serious Lovecraft fans. This design, printed in red and gold ink, depicts an absinthe label that I created to evoke the 1920's art nouveau style. Anubis is the Ancient Egyptian god of the afterlife and mummification, often depicted as a man with a Jackal head. How fitting it is that the god associated with embalming is also the fellow responsible for this fine alcoholic beverage. Produced using the unique Egyptian method with only the finest wormwood and other local herbs, and bottled in Cairo for export to France, Anubis Absinthe is one of a kind. Its aroma wafts from out the sands of time, evoking the endless dunes beneath the gaze of the Sphinx of the Giza plateau, while its dry and earthy flavor will make you feel like an entombed Pharaoh. Printed in Gold and Red, this bold shirt depicts Anubis offering a ceremonial glass of this rare liquor, surrounded by hieroglyphs from the Egyptian Book of the Dead, and a stately Papyriform column.

This premium Dunkel is brewed at the secretive Hexennacht Brewery deep in the Bavarian Alps. The unseen craftsmen have created a smooth, dark beer that is evocative of an icy night spent racing through the shadowed forests of Germany, while the silver full moon shines above the treetops. The label features a werewolf soldier clad in the black uniform of an underground squad of insurgents. The werewolf's gun barrel gleams in the moonlight while crouched low among the Wolfsbane, during a tense and breathless moment, while other members of "die Wehrwölfe" (or "Defense Wolves") wait for the signal. On a historical note, the original Werwolf movement was conceived by the German Minister of Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, as an underground guerrilla force to fight the Allies after the Nazi defeat in Germany. The notion was based roughly on a nationalist novel favored by the Nazis, Hermann Löns' Der Wehrwolf, in which a group of oppressed peasants form a bloodthirsty militia. Related only in general concept, and because uniformed werewolves are cool, this shirt is printed in blue and white.

It depicts a folkloric winged creature with the head of an octopus that the islanders believe provides them with both good fishing and earthly riches. On women, the tattoo is often placed on the upper thigh at the onset of puberty, during a ritual nighttime marriage held on a nearby reef, to this "god of the sea." First sketched by Captain Obed Marsh in his journals, after successfully trading with these tribes in the South Pacific, a similar design has since been recorded by recent explorers in the island chain that includes Easter Island, who found it carved on primitive obelisks, alongside scenes of strange fish-like men. This is one of the first designs I created after moving to New Orleans. Inspired by one of the ghost tours we took.

In the early days of New Orleans, women of ill-repute were shipped from the old word to be the companions of the criminals who inhabited this young city. When they came, they brought their belongings in boxes... the mythology says the boxes were coffin-shaped and that they were loaded into the attic of the Ursuline convent, the shutters of which were sealed with 80 holy screws to keep <I>something</I> from getting out. We don't know about that... but these "Coffin Girls" have become a part of the lore of the Crescent City. This stylish babydoll tee features a sinister coffin, out of which emerges the enticing leg of a real vamp, her red boot in stark contrast to her lovely pale skin. Fit the profile?
