I've been saving this vintage 1928 quilt piece forever. It's from an old quilt that long ago fell apart except for the small pieces I have. I love the muted colors of the fabrics and the small handquilting you can see. I've sewn it securely so the stuffing doesn't come out, because the edges are raw. I've added a vintage shiny orange button straight from grandma's button box and some adorable beads.

I've been trying to do art pieces lately that just flow. That aren't 'over-thought' or planned much. Not sure how much of the depth you can see in these pics but the collage is very interesting.
