Linda Dearie Bangkok (Red Pink Fuchsia) Felt Flower Fabric Necklace Lei

felt flower necklace made of fuchsia, red, and bright green flowers.
each flower measures approximately 2" diameter.
attached to a fuchsia colored ribbon. cut and sewn by hand.
necklace measures 32" from end to end (about 16" drop).
you may adjust its length by tying the ribbon to your liking.

when i was little, my mom often made crepe paper necklaces as party favors during buddhist holidays and celebrations. i recreated these unique necklaces in honor of her.

the second photo shows you how the necklace looks when you wear it. due to its handmade nature, i do not recommend washing the necklace or wearing in the pool (although it looks lovely at summer parties).

all kokeshi dolls are made from my own pattern. each doll has a matching bow in her hair with the exception of michi (black kimono). if you are familiar with kokeshi dolls, you know that some kokeshi dolls do not have bows. each doll has a snap clip sewn inside her kimono.
