This is a vintage brass buckle that I have made into a brooch. In the center is a picture of a lady in her Sunday best, hat, waistcoat, long skirt and handbag. On the sides I added a new love charm and part of a vintage Mother' Day pin. The leaves are original to the buckle. The picture is covered in mica and the back has a piece of suede to cover the picture. Measures 3 1/4 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide.

Short necklace made from vintage earrings and flower brooch. Two pink and pearl earrings, one pink faxu pearl earring and two pink enamel earrings. The large pink flower is the matching brooch to the pink enamel earrings. The center of the brooch as been replaced with a faux white pearl. The silver color metal link chain is new as is the hook closure. The total length is 20 inches. The large flower is 1 3/4 inches across, small flowers are 1 1/4 inches across. There is a right and wrong way to wear this. If you wear the wrong way, it will not lay flat, will "tip" over. The hole on the large flower should be at the top, on your right side when wearing. This can be worn shorter if you like. Just hook the hook into any of the links.

When I found this owl he needed some body work. I attached a vintage Avon brooch for the body and a vintage gold bead earring for the tail feathers. The double strand gold color necklace came with him. The longest chain measures 31 inches long, the shortest chain is 18 inches long, 1/8 inch wide. It has a fold over clasp for closure and measures. The owl is 3 1/2 inches long and 1 3/4 inches wide across the head, 1 inches across the bottom earring.

I grew up loving the movie Bambie, named my pet rabbit Thumper and wanted a skunk just like Flower. When I found this little vintage tin skunk I knew it needed a flower. The backing for this mosaic heart is a vintage silver color heart earring. I added the bright color faux gems in a mosaic pattern. Right on for spring and summer. The face is from a pair of vintage gold tone earrings that I removed the post from. The hands are also gold tone and are new. The chain is a gold tone vintage chain from my stash. I have had this Sarah Coventry necklace for years and just couldn't decide what to do with. I decided to add some bling to it and I love the way it looks now. The original pendant is made up of individual "flowers" that form a large diamond. I added Swarovski crystals in a "flower". Then I attached fire polished Czech glass beads in a darker shade to the ends of the bottom rows. The look is very dramatic with lots of sparkle. You will love wearing this necklace. The gold color chain is 20 inches long and has a ring 2 inches in from the end so that you can shorten it to 18 inches. It also has the SC charm. The pendant is 4 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide, at the widest part. Spring ring clasp. Very light weight.

I really liked this watch case when I found it, looks like a mine clock. I put a picture of Queen Elizabeth I (I think it looks like her) inside and sealed back up. Dangling from the pendant is a purple metal heart, a silver color charm that reads "Follow your heart" and crystal beads. The chain is silver color and has glass beads in shades of purple, 3 large pale amethyst beads, and a silver flower from a vintage earring. Toggle clasp closure. Measures 21 1/2 inches long. I bought some metal paint to fix a bracelet I own and had so much fun I started looking for other pieces to paint. I had purchased this brass cuff and was looking for something to decorate it with. I decided to paint some coins left over from a trip to London, before the euro. The coins are all from England, images of Queen Elizabeth, and date in the 70's. The colors are orange, purple, green, pink and blue. After I painted I used steel wool to expose some of the coin and to darken the paint a little. Then I applied a layer of satin glaze. The cuff is bendable and will easily fit a medium to small wrist. It is 7 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide. The coins are glued on with a E6000.

I love pink and green together and this necklace blends those colors beautifully. It combines two large vintage metal flower brooches, pin backs removed, and vintage clip on earrings. The large pink and green flower does have some white showing and I believe this is the way it was made as there isn't any chipping. The white flower with pink center has some wear along the edges but does not affect the look. The earrings are all vintage clip on that I have removed the backs and joined together with jump rings. The light green metal chain is new and has a vintage crystal bead at the end. The closure is a silver color lobster claw clasp. It measures 24 inches long and can be hooked at any length to adjust for fit. The large flower is 2 3/4 inches wide and the white flower is 2 inches wide.

The Forget Me Not is one of my favorite flowers. I love the color of the blue and the simplicity of it. This necklace is is made from vintage earrings and brooches that I have joined together. The blue glass beads are from a vintage necklace that needed to be repaired. The closure is a vintage toggle clasp that has crystals on the bar. It measures 17 inches long and 1 inch wide. The bird pendant hangs down 1 1/4 inches. The blue flowers are vintage Avon, the gold color flowers are vintage Coro. There is a small gold color wishbone with blue flowers attached to one of the gold color flowers. The one end is a vintage blue rhinestone brooch and the other end is a gold cold oval with a pearl center.

I found this black satin tie and then the gold color brooch with pearls and chains. The tie is black satin. I removed the tie clip from the back and have sewn on a pin back. The gold color brooch has some of the gold color rubbed off but not enough to matter, just looks like vintage. The tie measures 4 1/2 inches long and 3 inches wide at the ends and 1 1/8 inches wide at center. The brooch is 1 3/4 inches long and 1 inch wide. The chains hang down 2 1/2 inches.

I bought a box of old keys and found this "M" initial key with AAA on the back. Then I was looking at a fashion magazine and saw these great key pendants from Tiffany that had clear crystals on them. So I decided to put clear Swarovski crystals on the "M". The key is silver color with a gold color border around the black center and measures 2 3/4 inches long and 1 1/8 inches wide, at the top. The black satin cord is 46 inches long. You can tie it at any length.

Vintage lace covered pearl necklace with ribbon ties

I have a beautiful piece of vintage French lace that was given to me by my mom, given to her by an antique dealer. This bedspread was all handsewn together, section by section. I used a section of the lace to make a cover for a strand of very good quality white glass pearls. The pearls are strung and knotted between each one. I made an encasement from light tan grosgrain ribbon and the vintage lace. I then put the pearl necklace in between, left long ties and sewed the ends shut. Some of the pearls are tacked down, some aren't. At each of the pearl necklace I have sewn on 2 different vintage silver color earrings, crystals and pearl. The back is a pretty as the front. The pearl necklace section is 18 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide. The ties are each 22 inches long. You can wear this close long or short, depending on how you tie the ends.

I have owned this cameo pendant for a long time and finally made a necklace out of it. The cameo is white milk glass of a women facing to the side. The brass setting has 4 clear rhinestones set at top, bottom and sides. The back is smooth. The necklace is white oval moonstones with clear crystals between and a gold color toggle clasp.
The necklace is 15 inches long and 1/4 inch wide. The pendant is 1 3/4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide.

I bought this vintage belt buckle and the cameo at a sale and knew they were meant for each other. The cameo is a vintage piece of stamped brass that has a pretty lady with her hair up and flowers framing her face. The round vintage belt buckle has a brass finish that has a nice patina to it. It is very simple and very elegant. I have attached a pin back to the back side. Wear this on a coat, jacket, hat, shawl or scarf. Measures 2 1/2 inches across.

Green and turquoise link chain necklace. Large vintage metal yellow flower brooch attached to the green chain. I have removed the pin back. Hanging from the yellow flower is a vintage clay or plaster parrot. He is stamped on the back Florida. Light brown body with clear rhinestone eye and yellow and turquoise markings. I took a vintage silver color key necklace, added another smaller vintage necklace that matches and then a long string of white pearls. I love the look! The pearl necklace is 37 inches long and 1/4 inch wide. The pearls are knotted. The key necklace is 25 inches long and the longest key is 2 inches. I used the hook and circle from the key necklace for the closure.

If you love yellow, this necklace is for you. It is made from a vintage gold color chain, vintage brooches, earrings and beads, and new yellow plastic chain links. The large flower and matching earrings are not marked but the yellow with green center are HollyCraft. The gold and the yellow/gold flowers were brooches that I removed the back, as was the horseshoe in the center. The yellow/gold flower does have some of the yellow enamel missing but does not distract since the gold color is the same as the chain. I love the yellow plastic links, very retro.
