Despite the fact that hippos are brutish and bilious beasts, we like to pretend they're actually cute and cuddly, misunderstood creatures. Besides, we like our animals (and our people) with a little meat on their bones. Which is why we've made this two finger hippo ring, to celebrate the rotund river horse and all of its burly beauty. We felt that, because of its substance, it required two fingers to carry it off (although we do make a single finger baby hippo version). Wear it when you're feeling bold (or disagreeable)!

This ring is made from recycled truck and bicycle tire inner tubes. The band is made from inner tube and fits two size 7-9 fingers.

We like big rings so we just keep making them because we think the whole world should be bejeweled with oversize baubles. You know those old ladies with the arthritic knuckles and the fingers just swimming in rings? Yeah, that's going to be us.

This big ring is made from recycled bicycle inner tube and is layered with grey wool felt and two sweet vintage buttons in light blue and green. It measures 1.5" across and is a size 7. The band is also made from rubber so there is some give in the sizing.

This ring has a story. When the designer, DSB, was a little girl, there was a friend of the family named Virginia who always brought DSB gifts and treats from her amazing adventures all over the world. When Virginia died, DSB inherited all of her fabric and notions in four or five huge boxes. The button used on this ring, a great woven-look brown and yellow button, is from that collection and we like to think that everything we use from Virginia's stash is imbued with the spirit of a feisty world traveler. Because we guess that the button is at least 30 years old, the varnish has cracked in a few places (which you can see in the photos). We don't mind and hope you don't either.

The rest of the ring is made from recycled bicycle inner tube and reclaimed leather. It measures 1.25" across and is a size 8. The band is also made from rubber so there is some give in the sizing. If an 8 just won't fit, let us know and we can make one to fit you.

This oversize clutch was inspired by one we saw from the 40s that had a bold and repetitive pattern and looked striking tucked under the arm. Of course, we had to make it HUGE because we like 'em big. This handbag is made from individually hand-cut squares of recycled truck tire inner tube. It is painstakingly constructed and lovingly assembled (okay, maybe we cursed at it a time or two). Our clutch is lined in a lightweight poly blend suiting in a neutral taupe to compliment just about any attire. We included an interior pocket large enough to hold a wallet because things do tend to get lost when you carry your life in your bag like we do.

Perfect for Halloween! Keep some skeletons in you closet with this ultra sweet wrist cuff made from recycled bicycle inner tube and lined in white cotton. Okay, that was cheesy but don't let my terrible sense of humor detract from this really great bracelet.

Comes in sizes S/M/L (specify when purchasing, I have one of each currently). There is some variation because they are made from inner tubes and each will vary slightly. Lace closure, with antique brass grommets.
