This set of nesting bowls is so adorable.

They would look great as an accent to most any room, especially a baby's room.:)

They sort of look like a hollowed out cupcake when they are all nested together.:)

They can be filled with most anything. In my bathroom I have some bowls that have rocks, small hair clips, earrings, etc. For a baby's room you could put safety pins in one, and other little tid bit items that you might find in a baby's room.:)

The main part of each bowl is an almond colored yarn made of a 75%recycled cotton/25%acrylic. The lovely, fluffy, sky blue yarn is an mohair, wool, acrylic, polyester blend yarn. I love the combination of these two yarns together both visually and texturally.

I took the plastic wrap off the adhesion sheet to reduce the glare for picture taking. Won't be putting the plastic wrap back on for it doesn't look to good now anyway.

I hand-cut the paper down to it's now 6"x6" size.
There are 24 designs(counting the front and back)

I tied it all up with a pretty sky blue 2" wide tulle ribbon. Will be able to use that as well for your crafty needs.:)

A pretty earth and sky colored wristlet and Scarf set.

The wristlets are made from an almond colored eco-friendly yarn that is 75%recycled cotton and 25% acrylic. They have a bit of the sky blue yarn in them that the scarf is totally made up of which is a beautiful yarn that is 75.5% Acrylic/10.5% Wool/10.5% Mohair/5% Polyester blend. The combination of the two different yarns is just wonderful.

The scarf is 4ft 11in.(59in.)in length and 3.5 in. in width.

The wristlets are for small to medium sized women's hands. They are a bit big for my 12 year old daughter who is modeling them in the pictures for me. She is rather petite though and much shorter and smaller than most of her friends her age, so they could work for some that age.

Washing:
It would be best to wash these all by hand and either lay flat to dry or on a line.

Beautiful Small Felted Purse

I've never felted a purse before and I really love how this little beauty turned out.
I think that this would be so great for a little girl due to it's small size.
I first crocheted it and then felted it by putting it through a long hot wash twice.
I used 100% wool in two different colors. Oatmeal and Barley.

Size:
About 17.5" from top of shoulder strap down to top of purse.
The purse itself is 6.5" x 4".
The depth of it from front to back at widest part is 2".

The closure is a cute wooden button that I had laying around here for quite a long time. Glad to have found a home for it.:)

I love these 2.5"X1.5" tags that I made from some of my tea stained watercolor paper.
I gave each one a scalloped botton edge that I then dotted with some indian ink.
I then glued a German glass glittered star to each one and then attached a pretty vintage sea green seam binding tie to each one.

The backs of each tag are not tea stained and still white.

I adorned it with pretty specialty paper inside and out and stamped it with a pretty little bird and a quote that says, "Keep an green bough in your heart and the singing bird will come."
The inside is filled with an awesome cream colored and specked 100% recycled paper. There are 40 sheets(80pages).
I bound it all together with some waxed Irish linen thread. The book will lay perfectly flat when opened.

Lovely floral, upcycled, recycled Journal

I love this sweet journal with it's brown paper bag covers, covered with some pretty K&Company design papers(Amy Butler designs) inside and out. The design paper is both glued and sewn to the brown paper bags that I had then cut down with deckle edged scissors. Also deckle cut and chalk inked the designer papers to give it more of an old look.

The 56sheets(112 pages) of paper inside are an 70# specked ivory colored 100% recycled paper.

The flower on the front is made from old book paper(Little House on the Prairie)that I also chalk inked, usesd then tea dyed dryer sheet, blue tulle and an old pretty flower button.

Binding it all together I used some tea dyed tulle.

If this doesn't sell soon I may have to keep this one for myself. Just so ya know. ;)

Left blank for its future owners to personalize and do their own art work on. I made two different sized blank folders that hold an assortment of art papers.

*The large 4 7/8" X 6 3/8" folder is made out of Bienfang 140# watercolor paper that is acid free with a neutral pH. It has three pockets. One pocket holds six 4 1/2" X 6" sheets of a Strathmore 90# watercolor paper that is acid free with a cold press surface that is also great for gouache, acrylic, and poster paints.

Another pocket holds a simple sketch book I put together with 16 sheets of Big Bee all-purpose sketch paper that is great for pen & ink, charcoal, pencil or crayon. The cover is the same Strathmore watercolor paper as for the six sheets. It is tied together with a jute twine.
The last pocket is left empty.

*The smaller 3 1/4" X 4 1/2" folder is also made out of the Strathmore 90# watercolor paper. It is intended for holding ATC cards. It also has 3 pockets. Two of the pockets have 4 2.5" X 3.5" 100# Strathmore Bristol Papers with a light weight vellum finish and acid free.

The other pocket has two Strathmmore 2.5" X3.5" Illustration boards that also have a light weight vellum finish and acid free.

Folders can be refilled or used for other things later.:)

Earth Bound Altered Composition Recycled Notebook

I found this lovely brown and goldenrod colored composion book while school shopping for the kids. It are a Top Flight brand called Earth Bound.

This 9.75"X7.5"(24.7cmX19cm)composition notebook is filled with 100 sheets of 60% recycled paper printed with Soy Based Inks. On the notebook is says that it is a wide rule but to me it looks like a cross between college and wide rule.

I added a pretty K&Company specialty paper to the front and back that I first gave a deckle cut edge and chalk inked. The back cover is first layered with a violet colored card stock paper.
On the front I added three of my homemade German glass glittered stars. I love this pretty blue fine grained glass glitter. It so fun to work with. I have thought about adding some of my glass glittered embellishments to my shop so watch for them.:)

The pages are a 70# specked with white, dreamy sky blue colored 100% recycled paper. There are 64 sheets(128 pages).
The journal measures 4 1/4"X5 1/2".
These journals have such a chunky, light weight feel to them and are just a joy to have in hand.:)

This truly unique handmade, handbound, heirloom quality journal/guestbook/sketchbook/etc. has covers made from thin cardboard,then layered with 5 used dryer sheets front and back(to give it a little cushion), then covered them with a pretty striped beige recycled material that is 95% cotton/5%other fibers. This material is made from leftover fresh fabric cuttings, shredded into fiber, spun into yarn and then woven into this lovely striped fabric. To give my covers a soft padding, underneath the fabric I places 5 layers of already used dryer sheets.

It is bound together with a sturdy beige twine. Not sure if it is hemp, jute or a linen twine. Got it in a stash of craft supplies from my sister-in-law in sweet little bundles and in different colors.

On the front cover I made a paper flower out of cutouts from old book paper(Little House on the Prairie), recycled fabric, used dryer sheets, and used coffee paper(rinsed well). Topped off with a pretty brad embellishment.

The paper inside is a 70# specked ivory colored 100% recycled paper. There are 48 sheets(96 pages).

Here are four Margo Alexander serigragh prints called Sophisticated Provincials

Serigraphs are a form of silkscreening.

My husband is an avid Margo Alexander Collector. We are running out of room to put his collection! He has 23 others besides these ones.
This is a set of 4. Two larger sized circle shaped ones (10.5” in diameter) and 2 small oval ones (6”X8”).

These were done between the years of 1948-1954.

I think that they are sweet. The frames are a bit scuffed but some like that look. So if you are one of those people, you won’t have to spend anything on frames cause other than the scuffs, they are in good condition. Almost every one of the pieces my husband has bought he has had to take in to get some sort of work done on it, sometimes just a little and sometimes a lot.:)

12-piece Antiqued Botanical Stationery

I started off with this white botanical print paper that I bought at a Goodwill Store. Never been used and still in the plastic. I finally figured out what I could do with some of it.

I made some envelopes from it and then added some stationery to fit. Gave the flaps on each envelope a deckle cut edge.
Still needed somethin' so I gave it all a tea bath. Turned out so nice and and gave it that beautiful aged appeal. Had to iron it out a bit otherwise would be too warped. The tea wash gave it such a lovely old feel to it too.
Scalloped the tops of the stationery and put a bit of gold glitter glue dotted along the scallops.

Wrapped the set up pretty in a tea dyed piece of 75%recycled cotton yarn as well.

This set contains 6 envelopes and 6 sheets of stationery.

The size of the stationery is 8.25"x4.75".
The envelopes are 5"x3.5"

These would make such a great gift for somene who still loves to correspond the old fashioned way or just to use yourself.:)

Tea Dyed Lace on a Tag

...with a print of sheet music on each side and a deckle edged and chalk inked top and bottom.

I wound it with 3 different colors of lace that I tea dyed.

The pretty antique colored pink and old greyish turquoise colored laces(before the tea dye) were actually a bright baby pink and blue. These are each 1"wide and 3' or 36" long.
On the bottom lace I also added a touch of glitter along the whole bottom edge of it. This is 2" wide and 19"long.

This pretty lace could be used for a mutitude of things.

The almond colored yarn is an Eco-Cotton Blend of 75% recycled cotton and 25% acrylic.

A set of 6-1.5"X3" tags I cut from a nice watercolor paper stamped with a pretty feather on each one using an archival, acid free Versa Magic chalk ink called Ocean Depth.

Each one has tie made from a brown gauzy material that was once a favorite shirt of mine. All good things must come to and end though it seems. At least I am able to use its remains for other good things.:)

These would look lovely attatched to most any gift.

I love these little beauties.
Here is a set of 6 1 1/2" X 2 3/4" tags that I cut from a larger sheet of tea stained watercolor paper.
I love to tea stain everything these days it seems for I also added a cute little birdy to each tag that are made from a used and tea stained dryer sheet. Yes, I purposely did that.:)
For the tie I used a pretty soft blue tulle.
The backsides of the tags are not tea stained and still plain white.
They will come to you bundled and tied together with a white tulle tie.
Not only would these be good for gifts but they would also work as a pretty way to label things around your home or craft room.

This is for one manilla tag wrapped with crepe paper in three beautiful shades of Spring in green, yellow and blue.
Each 1 yard strip is about 7/8" wide and edged with some Dew Drop Multi-surface Chalk Ink called Versa Magic.Great stuff!:)

I went through my bin of yards and yards of lace. This particular one I bought from a lady who was going out of business in my home town like 13 years ago or so. I bought so much of her lace. I used a bunch of it but still have quite a bit. So, knowing that I'm never going to be able to use it all I decided to try to sell some of it.

This I believe to be vintage lace.
It is a soft, delicate blue.It could be used in so many different projects. It has some sparkle to it too.

I saved some of it for myself but I managed to cut three 2 yards lengths of it to sell. I saved even more to give in future giveaways over at my blog that I plan on having once a month.
