New for this year I've made some journals in Nickle Silver. Nickle Silver has a similar tone to silver but tends to look a little bit more like pewter. It's more expensive then copper.

I believe a journal should be not only functional and well made, but inspiring as well. Why not keep your memories in something special? Warm and detailed this metal journal warms up in your hand as you hold it.

This journal is made from 20-gauge solid nickle silver plates. The design are assembled, collage style, using various art sources including hand-drawn detailing.

Each book is then etched in an acid bath to give the design a dimensional, textural quality. Covers then are hand patinaed to give the design contrast, then clear-coated for protection from the elements.

The interiors and back covers are hand burnished with a brushed look, and the book is hand sewn with Irish linen thread and aged eyelets.

Makes for a beautiful art display or functional book and a great holiday gift!
