The white textured card measures 4½“x6” or 11cm x 15½ cm with the top and bottom borders decorated with scalloped edged blue spotted paper.

ELMO.... is just Elmo with his big googly eyes and sweet button nose, not to mention that large mouth of his all captured with paper quilling.

The cupcake pan has been made with corrugated cardboard, wrapped in red ribbon with a small sentiment message "Elmo Greetings" attached.

Enjoy the classical beauty of a floral topiary showcased in it's own picture frame and captured with paper quilling....

My handmade paper quilled cards are ones that not only can you visually enjoy, but ones that you can actually delight in the feel of them!

This cream card measures 4½”x6” or 11cm x 15½ cm and has a white matt photo border surrounding the topiary floral tree.

Pale lilac shimmer paper quilled roses form the centre of the topiary then surrounded by colours of deep purple and pale lilac fringed flowers.
The centres of the flowers have been dotted with beads.

Small green leaves and scrolls complete the decorative shape.

The pot has been cut from gold wave corrugated paper, and the stem has been plaited with shades of brown quilling paper. A small purple bow adds the finishing touch.

Gold lettered "Best Wishes" sits to the top of the card and is a sentiment message that can be used for so many occasions.

This cream linen textured card measures 4½”x6” or 11cm x 15 ½ cm and has been decorated with a cream lace border to the top and bottom of the card.

The paper lace doyley cone and been wrapped with a gold net ribbon and to this has been added a yellow paper quilled bow.

The quilled fringed flowers are made out of shimmer paper in colours of bronze and gold.

Decorating the middle of the bouquet is the larger quilled daisy with yellow petals which have been edged in lemon.

This beautiful and decorative protea flower is such a work of nature's art, it's cone shape flower so formed to emphasise it's perfection.

The unique protea is one of the oldest flowers on the planet, dating back at least 300 million years ago, it has been given the symbol of courage and strength.

The fuchsia shimmer handcut card measures 4½“x6” or 10½ cm x 15½ cm, the top and bottom borders have been decorated with deep lilac ric rac braid.

A white oval sits in the centre of the card where stalks of protea flowers flow out from the centre.

The quilling paper used for the protea's petals has been hand painted by me to achieve a two toned effect.

The quilled proteas have then been enveloped in handcut shaped green leaves with gold etchings.

Deep lilac coloured quilled heart shape buds flow out from the protea's stalk and these have a little seed bead joined to their tip.

Fine green scrolls entwine themselves around buds and proteas giving this flower a look of elegance it truly deserves.

My inspiration for this card comes because I live near the beautiful pristine waters of Nelson Bay Australia, an area famous for our numerous pods of dolphins. These waters are home to these delightful gentle creatures that frolic and dance around our shores, a truly beautiful and peaceful sight.
