First of all, these beauties are true to their name and won’t sit still for their portraits. Most of the photos I tried to take of them were blurry because of this so I apologize for the lack of good images. I know it might be hard to trust me on this, but they are so, so much better in person - I promise!

Now, what are they exactly? Not wind chimes, not sun catchers - although some do look superb with sunshine streaming through them. They are pieces of art meant for reflection, beauty, and for increasing certain kinds of energy based on the gemstones used. Anyone who has small children, rambunctious animal friends, or perhaps can’t openly display an altar might want one around. They are wonderful for hanging over an office space/computer desk, or near a bed, over a full altar, or my favorite, over the kitchen sink. Dishes are not so difficult to get to with a beautiful reminder of the Goddess nearby.

This is so beautiful and "alive"! I truly wish I could capture the energy on camera. This piece would be perfect for anyone looking for grounding Earth energy or more connection to their totem animals/nature spirits.

The longest dangle is about 9 1/2 inches long and ends in a wonderful Moss Agate donut that's 1 3/8 inch. Flanking it are a gorgeous, handpainted ceramic wolf pendant and a rough cut Citrine point. There's also a ceramic, handpainted Owl and a beautiful Autumn Jasper donut as well.

Okay, this one I would classify as a suncatcher since it would be a crime not to let these beautiful, faceted glass beads make tiny rainbows all over your wall. The small piece of driftwood I used is so unique it reminds me of a spacecraft. (well, at least one from StarTrek) The dangle hangs down 11 1/2 inches and is finished off with a 2 inch gold spiral. It's beautiful in the light!

This is my favorite! I love the combination of these colors and energies, and it's wonderful to hang in sunlight as well.
The all natural driftwood measures about 4 inches long. The longest dangle is about 9 1/2 inches and is finished off with a Goddess pendant. It was sold to me as Turquoise, but I'm pretty certain that it's dyed Howlite because of the weight. Either way, she's beautiful and substantial - almost 2 inches long.

This piece is delicate, a bit feminine, but don't assume that means it's just for looks. These stones are very effective, in my opinion, at increasing love (particulary self-love) and joy.

The all natural driftwood measures about 4 1/2 inches and the longest dangle is about 7 inches (not including the ribbon to hang the altar). Each dangle is finished off with a substantial pendant of Rhodocrosite, the center one measuring 2 inches long and the other two 1 3/8 inches. These pieces have been dyed, unfortunately, but they are still very pretty and hold a good energy. They are also beautiful with sunlight shining through them - something I tried to photograph and didn't succeed very well at. :)

This altar was so much fun to make! I love these stones, especially combined together, and it does indeed have a fairie vibe. This little broom is OOAK! It measures 6 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches at the widest part. Beautiful green glass leaves dangle from a Celtic knotwork pendant, symbolizing the beginning of the return of life after a long winter. Also adorning the broom is a beautiful Mother of Pearl Crescent moon, a Hematite star, and a perfect wee Brigid's Cross made by fellow Etsians, Vermorlian.

Ying Yang Balance Necklace

This is a unique, eye-catching design that has a wonderful, soothing energy to it. Deep blue Lapis is combined with Sea Sediment Jasper, also called Variscite. The Ying Yang symbol is an intarsia pendant, meaning the two gemstones were glued together with an industrial adhesive and then were carved and sanded together as one piece. The effect is stunning.

The necklace measures about 18 inches in length and the Ying Yang pendant measures 1 1/2 inches across.

Yule occurs on or close to the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year. After this night, sunlight will very slowly begin to increase and green growth will gradually return to the natural world. This Sabbat is a celebration of the returning light and life. Many bring evergreen decorations, Holly berries and Mistletoe into their homes as symbols of this return. Many celebrate by reenacting the battle between the Oak and Holly Kings, with the Oak King winning to rule the coming time of greater light. As with Midsummer, this Sabbat’s counterpart, it is also a time strongly associated with the Fairie realm.

The Wheel of the Year- Imbolc Greeting Card

Imbolc brings with it the first small signs of Spring. The Crone aspect of the Goddess is now replaced with the Maiden aspect, as the land grows more fertile. This Sabbat is most often associated with the Goddess Brigid. Many fill there houses with candles and honor her by making Brigid Crosses from the wheat of last years harvest. Brigid is a goddess of creativity, fertility, protection and fire.

In this painting, the Spiral Dancer seems to represent Brigid herself, as she glows deeply from within. It’s still rather barren and cold outside but she is warm, comforting herself by the fireplace. Upon her altar is a goblet of milk to honor the renewed fertility of the Earth.

Festivals to honor the Fire God Bel often have people leaping over fires to ensure fertility for the year to come. The Maypole, as a symbol of sacred sexual union, is erected for dancers to weave ribbons around in honor of this marriage and to promote the union of those wishing to find a partner.

These unique, beautifully detailed dragons were very hard to photograph! I'm sorry for the lack of images - I tried, really. Apparently they are trying to keep an air of mystery about them.
They are handpainted ceramic so every one is a little bit different. This way they get to show off a bit of personality. I chose green garnet, aventurine, fancy jasper and little faceted red garnet drops to keep them company while they dangle from your ears.

Love Thyself Goddess Dangle/Charm

This goddess charm was created for any woman (or younger girl, teenager, etc) who needs a little boost in her self-esteem. Stones included are Rhodonite, Rose Quartz, Rhodocrosite, Citron ("lemon chrysoprase") and crackled Clear Quartz. The first three stones are traditionally used to increase feelings of love, joy, and happiness. Many people use them for relationship issues, but I feel that they are particulary good at making you feel better about yourself regardless of what's going on with any other loved one. Citron, the minty green colored stone, is helpful for feeling relaxed and at peace, and Clear Quartz enhanced the energy of the other stones.

The goddess is polymer clay and was created with a mold. She has the word "love" carved into the back of the image, and chips of the stones around the edges. The entire length of the dangle (not including the loop with the clasp) is 9 1/2 inches, with the goddess measuring 3 by 1 3/4 inches.

I've made it with a loop and clasp so that it can easily be hung on a bed post, shelf hook, or any other convenient place where it can be seen. (I do not recommend hanging it from a rearview mirror since it is a large dangle and the polymer clay goddess is somewhat fragile) I personally believe that the stones will affect the energy of the person, but just the image can have a powerful affect also.

Upon purchasing, if you tell me how you intend to use this piece (not meaning specific names or info, just an overview of the situation) I can also do subject-specific Reiki on it to increase the positive energy that the charm can emit.

Women's Mysteries Medusa Box

This is a very unique piece that I had no intention of creating, since I have never had a connection to Medusa. Never the less, she just showed up out of nowhere and this is the end result. After doing some research I discovered that she is seen as the guardian and protector of the Women's Mysteries, and there are many fascinating takes on the old myths about her circulating on the web.

She is made of polymer clay and is mounted on a wooden circle that was then glued to the box. Her eye is a glittering crystal (all the better for reflecting the truth of who you are)
and she is surrounded by Garnet, Bloodstone, and Blackstone beads as well as plenty of coppery glitter (is there ever enough glitter?...well, not for some of us) I painted the box earthy reds and coppers to represent the Women's blood mysteries.

The box measures 3 1/4 by 3 1/4 inches and is about 2" deep.

I was inspired by all the mothers I know who are sleep deprived due to new babies or toddlers who are having night terrors, etc. (myself included of course!) So this peaceful mother and baby were formed out of a strong desire to be more rested and to pass that blessing on to someone else in need as well.

The mother and child are made of polymer clay, as is the little "Dream" bead. They are glued to a sturdy wooden circle that is surrounded with gemstones that I find help with relaxation, sleep and good dreams. They include Kyanite, Angelite, Peruvian Blue Opal, Amazonite, Lapis Lazuli, Blue Lace Agate, Citron ("lemon Chrysoprase"), Rainbow Moonstone, Turquoise, and Mother of Pearl Star beads.

The dangle is substancial in weight and measures roughly 7 inches long (not including the circular hanger with the clasp) and is 3 inches across the widest part of the circle.

Visually speaking, it can serve as a reminder to a mother to deepen her breathing, relax her shoulders, etc while she is up late nursing or rocking a fussy baby. And if hung near a bed or crib, in my opinion, the stones and the intentions of the owner can aid in the actual relaxation and sleep of the child and mother.

This delightful little cabinet has nearly everything a witch could need. The shelves are stocked with books, herbs and the mortar and pestel to grind them, gemstones, even a little crystal ball and dark mirror for scrying! Her wee hat is perched near a bowl of stars, and her familiar, a white striped cat, sleeps nearby. There's so much detail that the pictures barely do it justice.

Lucky is a OOAK polymer clay creation of mine. Beside her cozy nest is a beautiful drusy Amethyst point, and around her are scattered signs of early spring - including some remaining snow!
The nest measures approximately 2 inches wide, and with Lucky in it 2 inches high. The base she sleeps on is a 4 inch circle and felted on the bottom. The twig that her nest is attached to sticks out on both sides of the base by an inch or so.

Mabon takes place on or near the Autumn Equinox, and is considered the second harvest. As with Ostara, this is a time of balance, when the light and dark are equal. This is a time for seeking balance and peace with ourselves by letting go of old regrets and arguments, and finding forgiveness for others as well as ourselves. It is a time for healing and reflection. Many give offerings to the Trees of Cider or Mead. The Goddess moves into her Crone aspect and the God, representative of the Sun and the grains, symbolically dies and awaits rebirth in the Spring.

In this painting, the Spiral Dancer settles down for the long darkness to come. Her branches are bare but in her lap is the overflowing abundance of the harvest, for which she is grateful. The Sun Singer is one of the very first Spiral Dancers that I created. In my mind, she is the sister of Moon Dancer - opposites, yet equals. They both carry within them a kind of secret code, a language of power that only they understand. The Sun Singer is about High Vibration - both the kind she can create with her voice and the kind she can create with her thoughts, Good Health, Growth, and Solar Energy.

These were initially conceived as individual paintings and they represented a longing to see the natural Elements celebrated with reverence, in a style similar to cathedral windows. So dependent on each other for balance they had to be combined into one image, which is joined by the invisible and omnipresent Element of Spirit.
