cordè handbags from the 40's are collectible.
they were created in the WWII ear since cordé
was very popular then with shortages in other
materials, using rows of gimp in unique patterns
stitched to a fabric background. cordè handbags
were advertised in the 1940's as the longest
wearing of all the handbag fabrics.
