The first of many Moo Moo Mugs! I've been wanting to start on a series of cow like pieces and the MooMoo mug seemed like the most logical piece to make first. The mug measures 3.5" tall and 3.25" across. It is made of a low fire white clay body created on the wheel with a hand built handle. It has been handpainted with three coats of glaze, inside and out. Each bowl is different in size and shape, but all are made with the same lowfire white clay body and handpainted with three coats of glaze, inside and out. The inside is a shiny black, the outside a matte seafoam green. All are signed and dated samos 09 on the bottom.

Bowl 1: 2.75" tall, 5.75" in diameter, holds 3 cups

A unique square bowl with crazy colors makes a perfect dish to hand out candy for Halloween! This is a wheel thrown bowl made with a low fire red clay body. This is a large pitcher that was thrown on my electric wheel with a low fire red clay. It has a funky handle that looks part butterfly. It was handpainted with a non toxic glaze, three coats. Inside and out. This pitcher would make a great vase for fall flowers or you could use it to serve cider. The choices are endless. It measures 4.25" wide and 4.5" tall.

These little teacups are so cute you'll want to have a cup of tea at least three times a day! Each one was handmade on my Shimpo electric wheel. They aren't identical but pretty close in size. One measures 3 1/8" diameter and 2 1/8" tall and the other one measures 3 1/8" diameter and 1 7/8" tall. They have been bisqued at cone 6. I hand painted three coats of non toxic food safe glaze on both the inside and the outside of both cups. They were then fired again at cone 6 in a Paragon DTC 1000 electric kiln. They both hold 6 fl oz.

I love this bowl! It's perfect for a new plant or a huge bowl of cereal.I made Blu Pansy on an electric wheel with a red low fire clay body. It has been handpainted with three coats of glaze, inside and out. If you would like to use it in the kitchen, it is food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. Although I recommend handwashing for life expectancy purposes. It measures 3.75" tall and 5.25" across.

Always a personal favorite are the waxed bowls. They have an oriental feel to them. Simple. This piece was thrown wtih a low fire white clay body on my electric wheel. It was then decorated with wax and handpainted with three coats of glaze, inside and out. It measures 3.5" tall and 6" across. A nice size for a bunch of plums, grapes or clementines.
