This gorgeous and stylish monochromatic is titled "Ellen's Boat"

It began when I saw a copyright free picture of a sunset with a boat at the side. In a recent workshop, it turned into a tonal pencil drawing - as I changed many elements according to the class.

Then, as I was preparing to paint it, my daughter Ellen, a young stylish 20, who loves black and white photo's and decor - requested that I paint it monochromatic like it was in the pencil drawing. Seconded by several friends, I complies.

The consensus among all those who have seen it so far is that it is striking and gorgeous.

It measures 16" wide and 12" high. It's painted on YES canvas for watermedia with artist quality Payne's Gray paint and sealed with Krylon spray sealant. It's wired and ready to hang as is (the 3/4" sides painted solid) or it can be framed if you desire.

It will be shipped Priority Mail with insurance

This original watercolor titled, "The Vine" is painted on Artistico 140lb Rough watercolor paper with artist quality paints.

It measures 24 inches high and 18 inches wide. It's signed at the bottom.

I have attempted to show the best pictures possible, but remember that lighting and monitors can all vary. It is generally, a very warm colored painting.

With Rough paper, and wonderful granulating paints, there is a lot of texture to this painting - it makes you want to reach out and touch it.

As shown in pictures, it is not fully painted to the edge. I will mat nicely though.

Delivered in a plastic bag with cardboard protection.

The edges are 3/4" and this one is 3.5" high and 2.5" wide.

It is painted with Sennelier Oil pastels, and sealed with varnish.

Painted with artist quality watercolors on 140lb cold press, this is a fun 5"x7" winter original!

Set in a quiet snow covered landscape, a lonely snowman invites anyone to "Come and Play".

I've also used some duochrome color on the ice pond and on the snow so each has it's own snowy and icy shimmer.

In addition, I have this painting matted in a very nice, double 8x10 mat. The outer mat is blue and the inner mat is light brown. I've shown a scan (which washed out the painting).

This gorgeous Triptych (three separate paintings - created to be hung together) is created on YES! watermedia canvas with artist quality watercolor pants.

They are sprayed with Krylon Matte Varnish which will protect the canvas' and does not yellow. All watercolor painted on canvas must be sealed, as it easily lifts from the canvas. This also allows them to be hung without glass.

The three canvas' are gallery stretched and very lovely backs for a canvas! You can easily add a sawtooth hanger, but they come wired. I have painted the edges and they come ready to hang!

Each canvas measures 12"x12". The sides are 3/4" and, though prepared to hang, they can also be put into canvas frames if you prefer. Spacing between canvas' will be up to you and how you like them to look.

This abstract painting is painted in watercolor on Yupo synthetic paper. I have used quality artist paints including a gold watercolor paint from Daniel Smith that gives this painting a wonderful texture!

An abstract painting is hard to define - but for me, I saw a river bed with water washing over the rocks. I've signed the painting very small on the front in such a way that it flows with the movement of the paint - so you can frame it and mat it in the direction that speaks to you!

This painting measures 9"x11" and is sprayed with Krylon spray Varnish to fix the watercolor pigment to the Yupo. It is signed on the front and is delivered in a sealed plastic bag with white foamcore backing.

ACEO's are the size of playing cards.This lovely little original painting measures 2.5" x 3.5". ACEO's are highly collected art and can be matted and framed for small places, or added to an artist trading card collection book.

I painted a Plumeria bud - from a picture my husband took on our 25th anniversary trip to Hawaii. Plumeria's are the most common flower used for lei's. They are usually white and yellow, but some also come with pink and even a very dark pink/burgandy.

This is the first in a series of original paintings I am doing from our photos in Hawaii. If you'd like to have a little of that Aloha Spirit - this is a great little painting for you!

I love living in the Northwest. I love the green. I love the rain. I love the trees and the hills and the great volcanic mountains!

When VAST - the Visual Arts Team had a challenge of creating something in the theme of "My Backyard" I thought about painting the deer that walk through, munching on my roses - with ivy covered trees in the background.

But then... the more I thought, the more I realized that my backyard is bigger than just my "property". My backyard is The Columbia Gorge... and all it's beauty. I live less than a mile away from The Columbia River and a Lewis and Clark campsite, and the Washougal river run just a block behind my house!

This painting, titled "The Great Northwest" is an ORIGINAL watercolor painted with artist quality paints on 140lb Artistico cold press paper. It even has some wonderful texture from some granulating transparent watercolor that I use, made by Daniel Smith. You will be truly amazed when you see it in person!

It measures 9x12 but is not painted fully to the edges. It mats wonderfully in a mat with an 8x10 opening!

This is a fun piece of original artwork - very small and perfect for that space on your wall that needs a little love!

"Birch Creek" is a OOAK (one of a kind) watercolor painted from a mixture of a reference picture I took in Idaho and my imagination. I just love birch trees and I love to paint places that I can imagine myself relaxing.

It is painted on 9"x12" cold press artist quality paper with artist quality watercolor paints. It comes matted in a specially cut mat to show the most of the painting. The mat measures 11"x14" so it can easily be matted in a standard frame. The mat is a high quality acid free double mat. The outer mat is baltic blue and the inner mat is green. Both mats have white core.

The painting is signed on the front.

This ORIGINAL painting is painted with artist quality watercolors on stretched canvas. The canvas is YES! created to be used with watermedia! It is sprayed and sealed with Krylon Kamar Varnish - matte. It is still wise to keep all original paintings out of direct sunlight.

It measures 16" wide and 12" high and is 3/4" on the sides. The staples are on the back and the painting stretches around to the sides.
