Ever gotten a fortune cookie that completely, totally made your day? That's the spirit behind Fortunate...a perfect piece of portable wisdom to guide you on your way!
Designed and hand-crafted by me, these pendants reflect the simple, clean graphic quality of a fortune-cookie fortune, completed with one of the many fortunes that I have collected over the years. Everyone knows someone like this fortune: "You tend to think things out thoroughly and seriously." (Or maybe it would be a good reminder for someone who currently doesn't!) These designs are entirely my own (ripping off the fortune cookie manufacturers is not my idea of auspicious!) and are first transferred to photopolymer plate, and then to fine silver. This process ensures that while each pendant is an accurate reflection of the layout, it is also one-of-a-kind in surface texture, cut and polish.
Crafted of fine silver (which is 99.9% pure silver) these pendants measure just over 2" (5 cm) long and 5/8" (1.7 cm) wide, and they have a substantial weight and thickness. The are hallmarked with '999 FS' (99.9% fine silver) on the back, and bear my 'e' signature as well.
This pendant hangs from a sterling silver jump ring on a 16" (40.6 cm) nylon-coated stainless steel neck-wire, that fastens with a sterling silver 'lobster claw'-style clasp and an additional 1.5" (3.25 cm) of sterling silver loop chain for a custom fit.
These pendants can have a customized finish; mirror-polish (as shown) antiqued, bright, brushed finish...these are all possible options! Just convo me to discuss how you would to personalize your pendant!

Kianga fine silver, pineapple quartz, cherry quartz, labradorite and citrine necklace

Kianga means sunbeams, and this necklace had sunlight seemingly trapped and radiating from it's big, beautiful pendant. Unabashedly feminine and graceful, a large facetted pineapple quartz bead is accented by an antiqued fine silver coin pendant, and is centerpiece to a hand-linked chain of citrine, cherry quartz and labradorite beads.

Satin finished and antiqued to bring out it's unique, delicate texture and tiny silver beading, the silver coin pendant measures 3/4" (1.9 cm) in diameter, and features a subtle imprint of a Dusty Miller leaf as well as 3 fine silver beads inlaid in it's surface. As with all my pieces, it bears my signature 'e' and a fine silver (.999) hallmark on the back. The pineapple quartz pendant is 1 3/8" (3.5 cm) long and 1" (2.5 cm) wide. It is a beautiful, glowing, translucent stone, virtually clear in some places with soft butter yellow and milky inclusions. The pineapple quartz and fine silver coin hang from a 15" (38 cm) necklace of cherry quartz rondelles, labradorite coins and citrine oval beads, each one hand linked on sterling silver wire. The cherry quartz rondelles are a sweet, juice pink, the citrine oval beads are very softly gold and very translucent, and the labradorite coins are a beautiful, steely grey with hints of blue-green fire. The necklace fastens with a sterling silver spring 'lobster-claw' style clasp and an additional 2" (5 cm) sterling silver extender chain for a custom fit.

A beautiful piece of coral, immortalized in fine silver floats beneath a luxurious biwa pearl and freshwater pearl crest. South Seas Biwa is at once both bold and delicate, elegant and organic. Cold- cast in fine silver from a silicone mold of a piece of natural coral, the pendant is suspended from a gorgeous, gleaming biwa pearl and a single, sweet freshwater pearl. This would be an unforgettable necklace for an unforgettable beach bride...

Bright and shiny, with a subtle frosty finish to it's delicate, natural texture, this pendant measures 1 3/8" (5.5 cm) long, and the coral pendant is approximately 1" (3.5 cm) wide. The biwa pearl is approximately 3/4" (1.75 cm) long and 1/4" (2/3 cm) wide. It is a beautiful, glowing pure white, and it suspends the coral from a sweet little freshwater pearl. South Seas Biwa hangs from a 16" (20 cm) sterling silver chain, which fastens with a sterling silver spring clasp and an additional 1 1/2" (4 cm) sterling silver extender chain for a custom fit. Tiana fine silver and pearl necklace

Perfect for a beach wedding, and a reminder of warm sun, soft sand and endless waves.
A truly one-of-a-kind piece, featuring a round fine silver pendant set with a white button freshwater pearl and a hand-drawn coral-like texture.

This pendant is suspended from a white freshwater pearl and red coral bead necklace, highlighted with tiny, iridescent olive green freshwater pearls. Each link is hand-formed from tarnish-resistant sterling silver wire, and the 17" necklace fastens with a sterling silver 'lobster claw' clasp and an additional 1" of sterling silver chain (for a custom fit.)
(The colours in the photos are slightly 'cooler' than in reality; the red coral is closer to a tomato-red in colour, and the olive green freshwater pearls are a beautiful greeny-gold.)

The pendant is just over 1.5" in diameter, and the bezel-set freshwater pearl is approximately 3/8" in diameter. The pendant bears a .999 (fine silver) hallmark and my 'e' signature on the back.

Gelato prehnite and cherry quartz earrings

I'm an ice cream freak. There I said it. These remind me of green tea and pink grapefruit gelato that's served up on the boardwalk in the summer. They are simple and startlingly pretty, and go great with a tan (and an icecream cone...)

These earrings are 2 1/2" (6.35 cm) long, and they hang from sterling silver earring hooks. Huge facetted cherry quartz briolettes swing from smooth, glowing prehnite nuggets, all hand-wired on sterling silver wire. The cherry quartz briolettes measure approximately 5/8" (1.58 cm) wide by 3/4" (1.9 cm) long, and the prehnite nuggets are a flatish, coin shape measuring approximately 1/2" (1.25 cm) in diameter. They are incredibly comfortable to wear, with a wonderful swing thanks to the weight of the cherry quartz briolette, and a pair of clear silicone stoppers is included to keep them securely on your earrings!

Long, light and loaded with sparkle, these earrings are not for the faint of heart! Celebrate the first snow-flakes of the season, suspended from light and airy silver 'trails.'

Hanging at just over 3" (7.6 cm) long, and they hang from hand-formed sterling silver earring hooks that extend in a zigzag that has been hammer-textured for a soft glimmer. A huge AB finish Swarovski crystal snowflake measuring approximately 3/4" (2 cm) in diameter swings from the bottom of the trail, catching the light and giving these earrings their playful movement.

Like a waterfall, rhythmic and bright, with precious little details in the rush. This necklace is simple and strong, a bold hand-formed pendant hangs from a delicate sterling silver chain, and is inlaid with tiny blue sapphires and silver beads that sparkle in the sun.

Polished to a satiny finish, with a shiny finish on it's hand-applied streaming texture, this pendant measures 2 3/4" (7 cm) long, and the silver ring (it's widest point) is 1" (2.5 cm) wide. The silver ring suspends a beautiful, rich indigo iolite bead that had shimmery inclusions of of bronze and copper within. Gaia has 4 tiny (2 mm) blue sapphires flush set amongst the streams; 2 are very pale blue, and 2 are bright blue. They are natural heat-treated facetted stones that are very pretty and sparkly!

Coco fine silver and coconut shell necklace

This one is perfect for the beach, at one with the undulating waves, the sand and the earth, and the coconuts thumping down! Originally I was going to call this necklace 'MaiTai' for reasons explained below!
A fine silver pendant, textured with real pineapple skin hangs from a thick, earthy strand of real coconut shell beads, interspersed with small deep blue iolite beads and purple sugilite disks. This necklace is beautifully comfortable, the smooth coconut shell beads feel warm on the skin, and the unique texture of the freeform pendant keep people guessing...they know what it is, they just don't know what it is!

Just over an extraordinary 44" (111.8 cm) long, this necklace is a joyous collection of neutral-browny beads in a multitude of hues, from dark to light, opaque to clear, silly to sophisticated. Strung from beads plundered from my extravagant bead collection, this necklace is truly one of a kind and will never be reproduced as it appears here. The photos don't begin to do it justice, this collection of browns, neutrals and grays is unbelievably beautiful, and the subtle mix of hues makes it an accessory that will go with just about everything in your wardrobe!

The Sublime Strand closes with a striking hand-built, one-of-a-kind fine silver lariat-style clasp that is easy to use and creates a gorgeous focal point when wearing the strand as a multi-strand necklace or bracelet. It has a bright shiny finish that shows off it's unique hand-applied texture and it's round shape echos some of the big, chunky, round and oval beads. The beads are a mix of semi-precious stones, vintage and contemporary glass, and polyester resin and acrylic, with a few Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls, coconut shell beads, and furnace and beach glass beads sprinkled in. The semi-precious stones include: mookaite, leopard jasper, mother of pearl, Botswana agate, fancy agates, brown jade, poppy jasper and picture jasper. The Sublime Strand closes with a striking hand-built, one-of-a-kind fine silver hook and eye-style clasp that is easy to use and creates a gorgeous focal point when wearing the strand as a multi-strand necklace or bracelet. It has a bright shiny finish that shows off it's unique hand-applied texture and it's round shape echos some of the big, chunky, round and oval beads. The beads are a mix of semi-precious stones, vintage and contemporary glass, and polyester resin and acrylic, with a few Swarovski crystals and pearls, coral beads, and furnace and ceramic beads sprinkled in. The semi-precious stones include: aquamarine chips, lapis lazuli chips and glittering blue goldstone. This necklace is securely strung on 13-strand stainless steel cable wire and is attached to the clasp with two strong sterling silver crimp beads on each end.

Simple Bark Band fine silver ring

A sweet little band of textured silver for your finger, with an elegant lined and hatched texture. This fine silver ring has a soft, all-around texture that I created to echo the repeating rhythm of tree bark...and then tumbled and finished to a high shine. This ring is extraordinarily comfortable to wear, the perfect adornment for everyday, and would make a lovely slim-profile wedding or commitment band for a guy or gal.

Simple Bark Band is a US size 8.5 and is approximately 1/8" wide all the way around. It is very comfortable to wear, with a completely rounded and smooth inner profile. Due to it's delicate construction, this ring has not been hallmarked (.999 fine silver) on the inside, however it will be shipped with a certificate of construction identifying it as a fine silver creation. This ring can be made in a variety of sizes/thicknesses, just convo me for details.

The Rock yellow sapphire and fine silver ring

I am calling this ring "The Rock" because it is a ring to be reckoned with! So comfortable, so striking, and ultra-luxurious, this is the perfect summer ring...the color of sunshine, and killer with a tan!
This ring is approximately a US size 8.25 and the setting is approximately 1/4" (.63 cm) tall and 5/16" (.79 cm) in diameter, with a 6 mm golden-yellow gem-cut sapphire set upside-down (point or "culet" side up) in the center. The sapphire is a heat-treated, natural stone that has a rich buttercup-yellow hue, and a translucent glow thanks to some some visible inclusions and a lovely faceting. The setting is hand formed, and organically shaped, with a hand-carved finish that presents the beautiful stone as if it was emerging from the rough! It has a super-bright, shiny finish, and the ring's band is a smooth, rounded ring that is very comfortable to wear. Due to it's smooth construction and finish, this ring has not been hallmarked (.999 fine silver) on the inside, however it will be shipped with a certificate of construction identifying it as a fine silver creation.

Toshu fine silver swirling clouds necklace with cubic zirconia

Inspired by Japanese prints and resembling rolling, swirling storm clouds, Toshu is at one both serene and energetic. Hand formed of fine silver textured with my own original design, Toshu's complex shape and patterning ensures that it is truly a one-of-a-kind design.

Heavily antiqued to bring drama and definition to it's texture, this pendant measures just over 1 3/4" at it's widest point, and is approximately 1" high. It is set with a 3 mm (a bit less than 1/16") diameter gem-grade clear cubic zirconia that has beautiful fire and sparkle. Toshu hangs from a 15" sterling silver chain, and bears my signature 'e' and a fine silver (.999) hallmark on the back. The necklace closes with a sterling silver 'lobster claw' style clasp with an additional 1 3/4" sterling silver extender chain for a custom fit.

All you need this summer: bright sparkle, shiny silver, and a comfortable style.
A perfect, tiny, glittery bright orange sapphire glistens from the centre of this tiny, layered, hand-formed setting. The SunSpot sits atop a simple, hand hewn, round band of shiny fine silver, which has been smoothly finished for a comfortable fit and organic look.
This ring is approximately a US size 6.5 and the setting is approximately 3/16" (5mm) in diameter, with a 2 mm orange gem-cut sapphire set in the center. Ilsa Flore fine silver pendant

A cool friend of ours decided to travel Iceland last summer, solo. He brought back a neat collection of antique Scandinavian buttons, all rusted and aged and full of promise. Massively inspired by both his trip, and by these little souvenirs that had made their way back to us, I made silicone molds of all of those amazing buttons, and have reproduced one of them as an earthy pendant for this pretty, simple little necklace.

This pendant is just over 1/2" in diameter and has a shiny finish. It's beautiful texture has been enhanced by a subtle antiquing, which really brings out the 8-petaled flower motif in the centre. It bears my 'e' signature and a .999 (fine silver) hallmark on the back, and it hangs from a 15" nylon-coated stainless steel cable necklace, which fastens with a sterling silver 'lobster claw' clasp. Sterling silver extender chain can be added to this necklace for a custom fit, just convo me for lengths and price.

Epinette Antique fine silver pine cone and labradorite beaded barrette hair jewelry

Fit for royalty, fit for a goddess, fit for everyday. A beautiful, unique piece of hair jewelry, as pretty with jeans as it is with a prom dress. A delicate, brushed silver pine cone, cold-cast using a silicone mold of a real pine cone, is paired with a stunning labradorite bead and Swarovski crystal and wired onto a study, elegant silver barrette. The pine cone is an ancient symbol of eternal life, hidden wisdom and fertility...perhaps this hair jewel will help the wearer attain all three! ;)

Measuring 2 1/4" (5.7 cm) long from tip to tip, this barrette is created from a fine silver leaf, cold-cast from a real pine cone wired with pure silver wire to a shiny stainless steel, traditional style bobby pin. The pine cone is antiqued to bring out it's unique texture and measures 7/8" (2.22 cm) long by 3/8" (0.95 cm) wide. The bobby pin itself is 2 1/4" (5.7 cm) long and 1/16" (.15 cm) wide.
The bobby pin is very sturdy and strong with good tension and grip. The labradorite bead is a facetted 'kite' shape, and is a mossy grey-green with lots of blue and aqua scintillating fire within. A tiny clear Swarovski crystal brings a pop of sparkle. The beads are securely and discreetly wired to the bobby pin with non-tarnish, sterling silver wire. Great care has taken to keep the wiring neat and tidy and all free ends of wire have been securely tucked and finished to avoid snagging hair.

My oh my, these are darling...and daring, and certainly pretty.
Large opal glass briolettes swing below a sparkling column of Swarovski cystals, graded from largest to smallest. These earrings are romantic, girlie and super-sparkly, and unabashedly pink.
Darling Sugar earrings hang approximately 3 1/8" (7.9 cm) long, and are entirely hand-wired with sterling silver wire. The pink opal glass briolettes are a sweet, soft pink with a slight milky, opalescent quality and are approximately 1" (2.5 cm) long by 3/8" (.9 cm) wide at their widest point. They hang from 3 clear, AB (Aurora Borealis or rainbow) finish Swarovski crystals ranging from largest to smallest, from sterling silver ear-wires. A beautiful hand formed pendant that speaks of the sea, Spiralea was molded from fine silver and suspended from a smooth coated, stainless steel cable necklace sprinkled with golden-hued, natural mother-of-pearl beads. Another addition to my Spring Break series, this is a necklace to remind you of a faraway beach, seductive, sleepy sunshine, and the mysteries of a tropical sea.

Hand molded in fine silver and finished with a high shine, this pendant is approximately 1 3/4" long and about 3/4" wide at it's widest point.
