This rare purple jewel of vintage Maternity wear is in divine condition!

Tagged as "Stork-a-Lure reg. Maternities", this splendid wool suit is decidedly mid-century, late 50's to early 60's vintage. An elongated pull-over top closes with three oversized violet buttons terminating in a charming bow above a lightly gathered belly. The skirt confuses me, it ties on somehow, there are two loops in the central tie for the side ties to pass through, I'd imagine with a baby-bump there's some way to fasten this securely around it and be comfortable and stylish. It's a very unusual piece of vintage, in my fifteen years I've not seen one of these before, and this oddity is in pristine and highly wearable condition.

Measuring 36 inches (91 cm) at the bust, 24 and 1/2 inches (62 cm) from shoulder to hem, and a cropped sleeve length of 14 inches (36 cm) from the shoulder. The skirt is 29 inches (74 cm) around the waist when laid flat (with a gap in the baby-bump area), and 38 inches (96 cm) in the hips, 25 inches (64 cm) from waistband to hem.

This darling suit features some of the most fabulously oversized buttons I've seen, and is quite well made. Tagged as "tailored by Glenhaven ltd' and nothing else, the fabric feels to have some wool content. An expertly crafted suit, the skirt is partially lined in the rump area to prevent sagging to the suiting fabric, a true mark of excellent craftsmanship, and closes at the hip with a nylon zipper. The suit jacket is a fully-lined cropped style, very early 60's and suitable to wear with that charming pillbox hat. A rare find, in excellent and extremely wearable condition.

The skirt waist measures 25 inches (64 cm), 33 inch (84 cm) hips, and 25 inches (64 cm) overall length from waist to hem. The jacket has a 36 inch bust (allow room under this for a blouse- probably best on a 34 inch bust) (91 cm jacket measurement), with a cropped 18 inches (46 cm) from shoulder seam to hem, 15 inches (38cm) across between the shoulders in the back of the jacket, and (again, cropped) 17 inches (43 cm) from shoulder seam to sleeve cuff.

Beautifully embroidered roses stand out elegantly against the bright pink satin.

Lacy, open patterned scarf made up in a very strange bobble and thread ribbon type yarn, velvety soft and smooth and very vividly lime, yellow, and aqua with flecks of a pewter gray. A very simple stitch, just rows of loose and open stitches between garter stitch, but it shows of the unique yarn quite nicely in the texture. Will not be warm, but it's pretty and the bright color can add some pizazz to the gray months to come.

This charming late 60's day suit type dress and jacket combination is smashingly vivid. Untagged, this garment has remarkably detailed craftsmanship and is likely the work of a professional seamstress. The black bodice is edged on the inside seams with a piping of the plaid, it's the kind of attention detail that makes vintage clothing so exciting. A snappy cropped three-pocketed blazer closes with four large pearly black buttons and tops a black-bodice, perfect to frame a necklace or brooch. The sleeveless dress has the most darling A line skirt, pleated at the front for emphasis on the snazzy yellow, black and red plaid.

This snappy little number is just right for work, play or whatever else you're up for. With it's darling white collar accented by a big white button, the polka dots just seem all the more kicky. This darling dress was made by Missy House of Canada of the most vividly printed semi-abstract floral blue and green polyester. Very well-made, this highly flattering A-line dress can go from day to night quite readily. Estimated late 60's to early 70's vintage, this piece appears not to have been worn very much.

Measuring 36 inches at the bust, 34 at the waist and 53 inches from shoulder seam to hem, this dress is in pristine wearable condition. Zips down the back, a matching tie belt is included.

Skooter, Barbie's sister Skipper's friend

From the 1966 or 67 Mattel collection, this is Skipper's friend Skooter. Her left leg is severely damaged near the ankle, the vinyl is split and the internal armature is visible through her nearly severed ankle. Luckily, the vinyl used on dolls of this era matches up in most cases, so a replacement leg can be found to fix that. Her hair is also suffering, originally pulled back in pigtails, she's lost quite a bit along her hairline all the way around and would be a perfect candidate for trying out a re-root. Her big brown eyes and innocent smile are sprinkled with the most adorable freckles across her nose. She will arrive wearing what I believe to be the original dress to the Ellie May Clampett doll from the Beverly Hillbillies television series, it does not fit her well, but it just looks too sweet on her.

This is a project doll, being offered AS-IS for your restoration pleasure.

2 vintage fashion dolls, both damaged

The brunette lady wishes she were Barbie, but she's not, she is marked "Peggy Ann Doll Clothes Inc, Springfield Mass, Made in Hong Kong" on her back and 'Hong Kong' at the nape of her neck. She's jointed at the shoulders, hips and swivels at the waist. Her hollow vinyl legs bend, there's something inside that holds the pose but bending her knees squishes the leg in a very awkward way. The legs are also a little bit bent to the side, but can be straightened with hot water and lots of patience. She will come dressed in an untagged brown vinyl skirt and vest set with a damaged turtleneck underneath.

The blond lady is missing her right forearm and hand, and has a hairstyle quite akin to Tressy's with her long ponytail sprouting from a bubble cut type hair-do. Her only markings are a "Made in Hong Kong" just below her waist in back, and a raised bar-type marking in the center of her back that I am not familiar with. She is very highly jointed, and held together at the knees and elbow with metal spring-looking bits that I'm afraid to investigate any further. Most interestingly, her feet are jointed as well to allow for flats or high heeled shoes- a feature I've not seen in many many years of fashion doll collecting. She will arrive in a red and white untagged dress, missing half of a snap at the waist.

This cutie is from Hasbro's 1968 Dolly Darling collection, known as Dreamy. She is just under four and a half inches tall and is in wonderful condition aside from the nudity. The original rubber band that held back her hair has fallen apart with age, but her hair remains perfectly in place, as does her darling facial painting. She wears painted on pink mary janes and nothing else. Needs a light cleaning and gentle hair style assistance, but is overall in very good displayable condition.

This 1967 Hasbro dolly darling figure is in very good, albeit nearly naked, condition. She is from the 1967 collection, Teeny Bikini. Her hair still has bits of the original rubber bands in it, and is nearly perfect, as is her face painting. Other than needing an ensemble, she's a highly displayable and adorable little thing. Just under four and a half inches tall, her waist is loosely jointed and thus she wiggles a little. There's some wear to the soles of her painted-on white T strap mary janes, but she still looks fabulous.
