I love the look of fabric blowing in the wind, and with this nighttime experiment, I was very happy with the results. I get a lot of my inspiration from fairytales and old movies, and with this photo I was really trying to embody that feeling of otherworldliness that is assumed to be only on the screen.

Silver Gelatin Pearl RC Print, 8x10, Archival

(*Disclaimer* Please be aware that your computer monitor may alter the contrast and brightness of the photos.)
I have always thought it was very calming to watch the machine run along the fabric. In my photos i love to highlight the little details that you encounter throughout your day but may overlook until you frame them in a photograph.

Silver Gelatin Pearl RC Print, 8x10 Archival

(*Disclaimer* Please be aware that your computer monitor may alter the contrast and brightness of the photos.)
Ghost Town

$30.00
Eastern Washington is a good place to photograph deserted buildings. This was a church on the side of the road that seemed especially charming to me. In the darkroom I altered the focus to give it a more ambiguous feeling, and instead of just one 8x10, I have it on two sheets to give more options for presenting them. I like to display these prints in one frame with a dividing line in the center (a black mat looks really nice), but if you like you can also place them into one frame right next to each other (to give the look of one solid print, 10”x16”). Or simply put them into two separate frames. This piece reminds me of all the old westerns my dad used to watch, or a black and white movie about a ghost town.

Silver Gelatin Glossy RC Prints, two 8x10 prints, Archival.

(*Disclaimer* Please be aware that your computer monitor may alter the contrast and brightness of the photos.)
The bright blue train and the changing leaves evoke a feeling of time passing, it is a reminder of what went before.

This photo was taken with my Digital SLR camera, and the colors are very rich. Also, if you are in town, the market theater has amazing improv that you can’t miss. I panned my camera to follow him while the shutter was still open, and it has been one of my favorite photos ever since. It reminds me of the futurist paintings and sculptures such as Giacomo Balla's painting of a Dog or Umberto Boccioni's sculpture of a figure moving through time. The edges of the image i left rough to add to the sense of motion in the piece.

Silver Gelatin Fiber Based Glossy paper, 8x10".

(*Disclaimer* Please be aware that your computer monitor may alter the contrast and brightness of the photos.)

It was a beautiful sunny fall day, and I think you can really sense the leaves changing and the air getting crisper in this photo. I took it a few years ago, and still to this day I love looking at it and remembering that fall day.

This is taken with my digital SLR camera, and the colors are amazing. I had it printed at a professional printer on matte archival printing paper. It almost has a velvet look to it.

11x14"

This photo was taken at a cemetary in Preston Washington and i thought it was a nice mix of the old worn headstone wtih the newley painted white cross.

It was taken with my Digital SLR camera, and the colors are very rich.
