This floppy tote makes no presumptions: it used to be pants, and we know it. In fact, it's proudly upcycled from a pair of oh-so-soft ladies corduroy pants. The front pockets are still intact, providing extra storage space for pens, keys, or other small things. The pockets also boast two iron-on recycling patches.
The tote is fully lined with brown cotton floral print, and also has an interior pocket made of the same corduroy pants. It closes with a mini magnetic clasp right behind the pants button.

The care instructions on the patches makes this bag hand wash only!

Crane Skeleton Screenprinted Messenger Bag

This messenger bag was silkscreened with the image of a crane's skeleton on the front flap in white Speedball ink. The main bag is made from green Kona quilter's cotton, and the contrast pockets and inside are printed with a pink and green geometric design, also cotton. It's top stitched in white, and reinforced with heavy interfacing for extra sturdiness. Closes with a miniature magnetic clasp.

Purple girly skulls tote bag

This fleece at Joann's is called purple girly skulls, so I borrowed the name for the bag as well. My pictures are showing the swirls on the fabric as blue, but my camera and computer are both old. They are actually dark and light purple swirls floating among white skulls, pink butterflies, and stylized tattoo-art roses. Very girly! The contrast stripe and lining are a wine colored cotton, which does look accurate in the pictures. The bag measures 17 by 10.5 inches with 9 inch straps. There is one interior pocket and a magnetic closure at the top. I think this bag is really cute, especially if you like purple.

Sweet Pleat nighttime sheep purse

White sheep tumble across a light blue background on this pleated purse. There are cresent moons and stars along with the sheep, but don't try counting these baaaaddies while you're trying to fall asleep- their eyes look a little creepy. Maybe it's just me.

The purse measures 15 inches wide by 9 inches tall. The handle is 10 inches long. It closes with a tab and magnetic clasp and has a button accent on the top of the tab. Inside, the fabric is a darker blue with white and pink flowers and a circular dot design. There is also a small 3 by 5 inch pocket.

Sweet Pleat sheep is made from cotton fleece and reinforced with heavy interfacing.

Patchwork tote for tall items

I read somewhere that carefully picking patches for projects like this was overrated, since they usually ended up going together nicely anyway. Is that the case here? I don't know, you decide.
This tall tote is made from 4x4 inch squares sewn together, and has been lined and fully reinforced. Total measurements are 13 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, 2.5 inches "deep", with a 15 inch long handle (measured from the middle of the bag to the top of the strap). It closes with a brass colored magnetic clasp. A good fit for a few library books, or your knitting. Could make a good girl's bag. Made from 100% cotton and cotton fleece.

Monkeying Around Tote

This super cute mini tote is made from electric aqua colored textured cotton fabric that's been decorated with little felt monkeys. The exterior fabric is thick to begin with, and is further reinforced with heavy interfacing. The monkeys were also constructed by me from polyester Ecofelt, and are attached securely with embroidery floss. The bag is fully lined with a geometric/floral print cotton. There is a large interior pocket, and the bag closes with a small, thin magnetic clasp. It's the perfect size for a small book, your keys, phone, and wallet. Extremely kawaii!
