Night Swimming - 76 yards bulky handspun yarn

For this skein, I alternately spun up some Romney wool hand-painted by KnittyandColor and bits of a Spontaneous Spinning Cloud by Loop into 76 yards of thick and thin yarn that averages out to bulky weight. Then I plied it with some metallic chartreuse thread. It's much softer than I expected and the colors are just gorgeous.

My local yarn shop is Main Street Yarn and Fibers in Watkinsville, GA. When I saw it - housed in a gorgeous, old restored barn - I knew I had to take pictures! This is my favorite photo from that day. This photo is sized at 8x10 inches and professionally printed on glossy Kodak Endura metallic paper, which pops the colors brilliantly and gives it an almost three-dimensional quality. This photo paper is stable for 100 years with typical home display. I will sign the photo on the back and carefully pack it in a protective sleeve with a sturdy backing before shipping.
