This new version of 80/10/10 SW Merino/Cashmere/Nylon yarn knits/crochets up into an array of great items - from socks to baby sweaters! It has a more subtle softness than the previous version, but only because the fibers were blended more evenly before spinning for a harder wearing yarn. This new base does not pill as easily as the other 80/10/10. In fact the true beauty of this yarn does not show until it has been knit and washed! I am currently knitting socks out of this yarn and am falling more and more in love with every stitch! It is also a finer, more true sock weight yarn working better with most sock patterns. I dyed up three skeins of this colorway and that would be plenty for several cardigans out there such as the whisper cardigan

I'm branching out! I always seem to have little bits of wool hanging about my home (no surprise there!) and have found needle felting to be a great way to use those odds and ends. I am so often in love with just the colors in hand dyed rovings that I thought this would also be a fantastic way to just showcase color.

The design was needled felted onto wool backing and is quite secure. The piece measures 9"x11" and comes unframed. This makes the cost of shipping much lower and enables the new owner to match the piece as they desire.
