This is slightly larger than the average 7-1/2' sized bracelet and you can see in the picture that it is a little big for my average-sized wrist.

Just after sun up on a wet, windy day I found a clump of silver fringed sage holding raindrops. Even at 3 inches off the ground, the wind was strong and gusting, re-shaping the raindrops from perfect spheres to free-form droplets. In this image you can see how the wind shaped the drops.

Prickly poppies are native to this area; they like the dry, harsh conditions around here. The plant is very prickly - much like a thistle - and not overly attractive out of bloom. The white flower looks like it is made of the finest silk and worth a little ouch from the leaf.
