Sweet little vintage style capelet with a modern slant on colors. The black tweed has twists of cream and aqua in it. Accented at the bottom hem with black lace, while the neckline has a slightly elastic, sheer ruffle, black velvet ties, and 2 handmade black fabric roses. The slightly stretchy neckline helps this capelet fit multiple sizes.

I do not line the inside of my capelets, since the texture of the tweed helps to keep it in place on your shoulders without twisting while you wear it. This particular capelet was made with recycled tweed from a skirt. (all my upcycled items are laundered prior to shipping) The last photo gives a glimpse of the inside, for you to judge the quality of my handiwork.

Patchwork scarf made from moda brand fabric patches (wonderland designs by MoMo.) Main colors are red, chartreuse, brown and vanilla. Motifs include contemporary floral, butterfly, scissors, and abstracts. And because I couldn't resist, I free-motion embroidered the word "run" on one of the scissor patches, and "hide" is hidden on a floral patch. Details, details...

A romantic pair of armwarmers in black and ivory to warm your arms in the chilly weather.

The black rib knit fabric is a soft and stretchy rayon blend. The flared cuffs are embellished with ivory crochet lace, black sheer ribbon, and a little handmade DuhBe rose at each wrist.

I make my armwarmers using the fine fabrics from quality rescued garments. These stay in place on your arms due to the ribbed cuff above your elbow.

And since I had leftover fabric, I played around and made a mobious cowl for your neck which is included in this listing. The cowl edges are finished with soft crochet thread serged onto the edge in contrasting black and ivory.

These are a basic black color and the fabric has a silk texture to it. Average size is 3" diameter, give or take 1/2 an inch. Average height is around 2".

For all the whimsical fans of Alice out there, these pants are for you.

Brown linen pants rescued and re-made with patches and applique featuring the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, and the always late Rabbit. Other fabrics adorn the embroidered characters including bits of lace, tweed and an old silk tie in browns, blues and cream.

The pants are size 8 from J. Jill, with elastic and drawstring waist. Inseam measures 30", waist 32" (can be tightened with drawstring) and hips measure 42" for plenty of wearing ease. The pants are 100% linen and very well constructed. The patches have tattered edges and are securely machine stitched to the pants. These embellished pants have been washed and pressed to ensure they can withstand the washing machine - which they do!

I am willing to do custom orders for you in a similar style but with different pants and colors. Please convo me to request your own custom pants to suit your personal whimsy.

The base of the cuff has freemotion quilt stitching in purple and green varigated thread. A handmade fabric rose in eggplant adorns the center, flanked by beaded leaf appliques on either side. Two elastic loop button closures secure it on your wrist.

Decorated cuff measures 6" in length and 2" wide with an extra 1" stretch in the closure to fit small to medium wrists. Let me know in buyer notes if you need a different size - it's no problem to make yours a little bigger or smaller.

Vibrant. That's the word I think of with this color that is in between a turquoise and aqua blue. Cozy is the word that comes to mind with these soft armwarmers.

This soft, cable knit fabric used to be a sweater from the GAP, but I have recycled it into sleeve-like armwarmers and a matching scarf. They are trimmed in black cotton crochet thread using my serging machine which makes it ruffle the edges. The scarf still includes the neck ribbing so you can center it on your neck, and there is black sheer ribbon covering the seams on either side of the scarf for added embellishment.

Warm, playful and practical.
