Fun! Kind of funky! and perfect to go with that summer tan ad tops.

The metal disks in this necklace were hand shaped, carved and textured from (from back to front) in bronze, copper and copper. The connectors (see side view) are mostly found objects and the center spiral bead is fine silver. The cord is 1mm brown leather, with a hand-crafted S clasp of bronze. The necklace is designed for all parts to sway and to move as you do ...

The cord measures 22 inches; the largest of the metal disks that make up the necklace is approx. 1.75 inches by .75 inches and the middle is 1.50 by .75 at the widest area, and the smallest rectangle (it reads 'will') is about .75 long.

Copper and Turquoise Amazon Pendant

The focal point of this necklace is an Amazon Shacapa Nut, electroplated with copper. A patina was added to the copper to give the rich, aged loo and it was with turquoise nuggets and a sterling silver ball chain.

The pod itself measures about 3.5 centimeters wide by 2 cm; the with the turquoise stone on top and the dangles, it measures about 6.5cm.

In Peru, the shacapa nut was traditionally used in ceremonial waist belts. The nuts were dried and notched along the edge to remove the contents and woven into the belts. During the dance, the hollow shacapa nuts rattle together softly like castanets and lend a haunting sound to the chants and rhythms.

This gorgeous bracelet reminds me of an October evening as the sun sets behind the trees, lighting them with autumn colors. The links are copper with each inset with a colorful inset of polymer clay. The bracelet was made to display in an art show with the theme of 'kaleidoscope.' It measures about seven and a half inches, but could be adjusted by the length of the clasp chain.

Lovely and delicate, this amulet is composed of geometric shapes of aqua, green, gray and light pink on silver. The fringe is gray, highlighted with beads of all the colors. The chain measures approximately 24". The amulet itself measures 1 1/2 inch (4mm) long (without fringe) and 2 3/4" with fringe by 1 1/4 inch (3.5mm) wide.

The chain has four beaded beads (see photo) and picks up the same colors as used in the pendant.

The amulet has a useful pocket, as well as being a gread decorative necklace. I tuck a bit of cotton ball with perfume or essential oils into mine. If you use perfume, you may want to make sure to use a little liner, as the chemicals could interact with the beads eventually. I have never had any problems with that using natural essential oils.

Amulets are traditional to many cultures and have various powers attributed to them and uses. Native Americans hung amulets around the young girls to promote industriousness. Try it for yourself. But sorry - I can't guarantee it will increase your production!!

Al amulets can be custom made to your color preferences. Allow ample time - convo me for time frame - it depends what else I having going on.

Wear the sun lit golden rapids of a river flowing when you wear this piece. Inspired by the river flowing past my house, the pendant is bronze, accented above with a Brazilian Moukite gemstone and below, with faceted stones dangling from gold-filled wires. This bracelet is one of a limited edition series of four bracelets I do each year - one for each season.

Here's the Autumn bracelet this year, in muted fall colors of yellows, golds, pinks and blues.

The bracelet is stitched from mostly delica and seed beads for the base and embellished with a variety of other beads, including freshwater pearls, lucite flower beads, sea glass and other beads and gemstones.

The bracelet measure 7.5 inches and is closed with a loop and smooth sea glass bead.
