Custom Made Silhouette Pendant

I have teamed up with Master Jewler J L Doggett to create this beautiful custom Silhouette Pendant! Just send a right profile photo of your child to me, and I create a hand-cut silhouette from it. Then the fun begins!

This pendant is ENTIRELY hand fabricated. The setting is sterling silver, with each leaf hand stamped, and each scroll hand formed. There are 10 leaves surrounding the setting, and a leaf shaped bail. A Mother of Pearl oval bezel is mounted into the setting. The silhouette portrait is then hand sawed out of sterling silver. After being carefully sawed out, the portrait is hand filed, hand polished, and mounted onto the Mother of Pearl.

Since each pendand is hand made, some variations may occur. The back of the setting is stamped with Mr. Doggett's signature.

This pendant is surprisingly light and delicate. I love to wear the sample while I'm out and about, and get loads of compliments on it!

Silhouette Restoration (Damaged Over Time)

The sample shown here that I restored was a tiny silhouette of about 2x3 inches mounted on 5x7 inch paper. As you can see from the before photo, the original was crumbling into bits.

Convo me about your particular piece to be sure I can do it BEFORE you pay. Please give me measurements of the silhouette itself (height x width), AND the size paper it is mounted on. Please attach a photo of the silhouette for me to look at.

This list price is for ONE COPY of a 5x7 restoration of a single subject silhouette. Your price may be the same as what is listed, but it may be a little more if there are major problems with seeing the image, or if the silhouette is larger than 5x7 inches.

I have on occasion been able to cut a silhouette profile from a complete front view photo as well (the photo must be fairly clear and close up). I take these on a case by case basis, and try my best to honor the persons' likeness to the best of my abilities.

Silhouettes made from photos of your departed loved ones of ALL AGES can be created for you, and will be treated with the greatest of sensitivity and respect.

Sorry, rush delivery is not available for these silhouettes as they take additional time, care and planning to cut.

For these full body silhouettes, I worked from semi-difficult photos. The parents of the first little girl wanted her dress to have a bow, and I recommended for her to be holding flowers so we could see her hand.

For the second girl with the hula hoop, I adjusted her chin and neck so they could be seen, and both hands and the hoop were repositioned.

Note:
The client who ordered this silhouette of her children requested their hair be up in ponytails with bows. You can also see that it was worked from two separate photos. The feet from one had to be added to the bodies of the other! The left childs' face had to be raised up as well, in order to show her chin and neck area a little more.
