I love these rings. I'm almost always wearing one or two. They're great for mixing and matching and go with almost any outfit. Casual and understated, with a hint of sparkle. Very comfortable to wear.

Most of the rings are upcycled from a tiny scrap of a previously loved garment. They're all made from various stretchy, acrylic and/or lycra fabrics, so one size will comfortably fit a variety of adult women's sizes. Or, if you let me know your size, I can get an even better fit. They're very durable and can handle most of what a typical hand goes through each day. I only take mine off for super messy activities, like kneading bread.

I couldn't find the right button for one of my bracelets, so I decided to make one myself... then I went crazy and made a lot of extras. And now I'm offering them to you! These buttons could be used in so many different ways, and could easily become the focal point of your project.

Crochet Bracelet with Squares in Lilac

This is a delicate, feminine bracelet. I was inspired by a photo of a crocheted bracelet that I saw in a craft book. I wanted something a bit less frilly than I had seen, so I crocheted this of lavender rayon yarn using my own pattern. It's finished with a mother of pearl button stitched on with contrasting turquoise thread. Super soft and easy to wear.

Bracelet is approximately 1" x 8 1/2. Button is 1/2".

This scarf was so much fun to make, and will be equally fun to wear. To make this one, I gathered lots of different fibers from my stash, including high quality wool, wool blend, and novelty yarns, wool roving, ribbons, and bits of felted sweaters, all in browns, greys, blacks, and whites. I then piled them up and sewed them together with a zillion stitches. Each side is a different work of art, reminiscent of Jackson Pollock's pieces.

I'm so excited to offer this custom scarf. It's so much fun to make, and equally fun to wear. To make yours, I will gather lots of different fibers from my stash, possibly including high quality wool, wool blend, and novelty yarns, wool roving, ribbons, bits of felted sweaters, and anything else I can find that works. This pouch is made from a beautiful cyan angora sweater that was a bit outdated in its cut, but was just waiting to be felted and repurposed. I added zig-zag stitching in red and black, in a color scheme based on a traditional Japanese palette. I finished it off with a black leather thong to cinch up the opening and then hang around your neck.

Fun gift for a whimsical friend or a young girl.

Giant Market or Beach Tote

Perfect for a farmer's market trip or a day at the beach, this tote bag is big enough to fit everything! Or, if you want something smaller, just let me know and I will make it to fit your needs. The last photo above shows an example of a much shorter tote. It's made from a woven plastic chicken feed sack, saved from the landfill, upcycled to be used again and again. I added nylon handles, a narrow pleat on the sides, and some contrasting stitching in yellow blue and orange. The result is practical and fun.

This giant tote bag was inspired by my husband. He had been saving our chicken feed bags, hoping to upcycle them into something. Finally he asked me to help him come up with a design... and I ended up making what you see here.

Care: wipe clean with water and air dry.

Wouldn't you love to feel something this soft every time you reach into your purse? This pouch is made from an impossibly soft and bright cyan angora sweater that I felted, then snipped and stitched into the shape you see here. Black and red zig-zag stitches wind their way across the back, giving this pouch a sophisticated color palette, as well as a fun pattern. I had the hardest time finding a button that had the right look, so I decided to make one myself of baked polymer clay.

This pouch is the perfect size for holding small items in your purse, holding jewelry when you travel, or as a small purse on it's own when you just need the essentials. Pamper yourself or a friend with something soft!
