The kippah is hand knit with 100% alpaca yarn and then hand felted to about a 5.5 inch diameter using a washboard. The flower and leaves are also knit and felted by hand. Three cascading loops each contain 18 glass beads. A comb sewn in the underside keeps this headcovering securely in place.
