Agility or Obedience Tab-LOOP - Elastic

$5.00
These loops have evolved from my training tabs of the same materials. I had some requests for tabs for very small dogs. The loops are shorter and stay out of the way while still giving you a handle. I've also noticed that my cattle dog tends to get a bit excited and pulls the tab through my hand. With the loop - that doesn't happen. I can get a firm grip on her when I need to. So -- make your choice, loop or tab - I will continue to list the straight tabs also.

These loops are tightly coiled elastic and will stretch to 2 feet and then snap back to a mere 3 or 4 inches! They will stay out of your dog's way when running agility or obedience, but provide you with a handy handle on those "rare" occasions when it becomes necessary to restrain your dog.

We have changed the clip we use. You will receive one of the new clips instead of the lobster claw type shown in the top photo. We believe this clip is easier to use and our customers prefer it.

Please let me know which color(s) you would like when you send payment. If you forget to let me know or choose a color that is out of stock, I won't send your order until I contact you.

We have sold over 1200 of these over that past 8 years and have only had to replace 3. We do guarantee these against defect in workmanship or breakage due to normal use.

Wormy Spalted Maple Wood Bowl

$35.00
Size: 4 3/4 inches across the top
2 3/8 inches tall
3 inch base
1/8 inch wall

This bowl has been grooved by wood worms, and streaked with heavy spalting giving it a very unique look with many color combinations. All worm grooves have been coated.

This beautiful bowl should be used for display or for holding wrapped food only.

The bowl was sealed with sanding sealer (shellac), then 3 thin coats of lacquer, waxed with carnauba wax, and buffed. I do not recommend using this bowl with any food product.

This bowl was crafted from a fallen tree. No tree was cut down to make this project
This block of wood was cut on a band saw then reassembled to form this beautiful box. There are no metal parts used in the construction of this box.

If you look at the other box in our shop, this box is from the inside of that box. This box has a wooden hinge pin lid, and one pull out drawer. Each is lined with felt to prevent scratching your precious jewelry or other items.

This Jewelry box was finished with one coat of shellac, two coats of lacquer, and buffed to a smooth surface.

This box would look great on your dresser, chest, or to decorate a table top.

This jewelry box was crafted from a fallen tree. No tree was cut down to make this project.
Black Walnut Crotch Wood Bowl

The crotch is where one limb joined the trunk. There was an area where the limb followed the trunk and water would not run off, making the area where the hole is located in the bowl.

The bowl was turned, sanded and finished with 2 coats of lacquer. Some of the sap wood has more coats to give an even gloss to the bowl.

This bowl would look great on your dresser, chest, or to decorate a table top.

This bowl was crafted from a fallen tree. No tree was cut down to make this project.
Maple Natural Bark Turning

$15.00
Size Height 2 1/4 inches
Length 7 inches
Width 4 1/4 inches

While cutting wood from my wood pile to make a handle I had this piece of wood left over. After looking at it, I decided to turn it into what you see here. I just thought this would make an interesting piece of artwork. It can be used to hold many different trinkets; you decide what it will be used for. Maybe on your desk holding paperclips, etc. It is definitely unique.

The wood was from a fallen maple tree, there is some spalting on this piece, and the bark was left on for the natural beauty of the wood.

This item was coated with spray enamel to seal the bark and bare wood
Large Black Walnut Wood Bowl - 10 3/4 inches

$75.00
This large bowl measures 10 3/4 inches in diameter and it is 2 3/4 inches tall. It would make a great centerpiece or fruit bowl.

This bowl is sealed with sanding sealer (shellac), then 3 thin coats of lacquer, and waxed with Carnauba wax and buffed to a very smooth finish. This finish is food safe in the cured state, which means that the finish has dried for the number of days recommended by the manufacturer. The normal required curing time is 7 days.

The bowl should be washed before using with food products. Never soak any bowl in water. Use only a cloth for cleaning with mild soap and water. Hand wash, and dry soon after each use.

There is a crack in the side that has been sealed with mixed fine walnut dust (from sanding the bowl) and wood glue. The other natural imperfections in the wood add to the beauty of this bowl.

This bowl was crafted from a fallen tree. No tree was cut down to make this project.
Most formats are available. Let me know which format you need when you pay. If you don't give me your format, you will receive the set in PES format. If you prefer I can put these designs on a CD and mail it to you for an additional fee of $5.00.

All of my designs are manually digitized by me. It is ALWAYS a good idea to do a test stitchout of any design before stitching it on your final project.

The rights of my designs remain with me. You will have the right to stitch them on items for personal use or for sale. Outside of this bowl is made up of 8 pieces of Walnut cut with a 10 degree angle to give the beveled look. Inside section is made of 48 pieces of wood. This is not a typical lamination; this section was made using a technique called stick wood. Where wood 6 inches or more in width is cut to the angles necessary, then each row is glued together, allowed to dry, the next row is precision cut and glued to the previous row. This technique is continued until you get the desired diameter, and turned into a cylinder shape on the lathe. From here you slice off sections of the stick wood cylinder for insertion into your project.

The Quilt Plate would make a great addition to any household, for displaying in your favorite show case, mantel, coffee table, or just to catch your loose change.

This quilt plate is sealed with sanding sealer (shellac), 3 coats of lacquer, waxed with carnauba wax and buffed.

As with all my wood projects, this was made with downed limbs and trees. No tree was cut down to make this plate.
They will stay out of your dog's way when running agility or obedience, but provide you with a handy handle on those "rare" occasions when it becomes neccessary to restrain your dog.

$295.00
Bowl: 8 3/4 inches in diameter
4 inches high

Hands: 6 inches long
3 1/2 inches wide

This is a "one of a kind" wild cherry wood salad bowl with matching salad hands. The bowl is hand turned, and finished with salad bowl finish. The finish is rated as food grade, having only natural ingredients. The outside is waxed with carnauba wax, which is another natural product, and buffed to a high sheen.

The wood salad hands are hand made, and designed for comfort, with thumb indentation giving better control and feel while using the salad hands. These salad hands are again finished with salad bowl finish, and food safe, then waxed with carnauba wax and buffed to a high sheen.

This salad set is very smooth to the touch, with a very pleasant feel to the wood surface.

The bowl should be washed before using. Never soak any wood bowl in water. Use only a cloth for cleaning with mild soap and water. Hand wash, and dry soon after each use.

Crafted from a fallen tree, no tree was cut down to make this project.

**Check out the matching shallow serving bowl and snack bowl with condiment bowl center that are listed in our store. These three bowls would make a great set for a party setting.
