I stumbled across this method of printing photos while helping my nephew make a scrapbook of a zoo trip. He thought it looked pretty cool in his animal photos, so I tried using it with photos of plants that I have taken recently. I really like the outcome and hope you will too.

I think this card would work for a number of occasions, but, when I made it, I was thinking of anniversaries and weddings. This handmade card is roughly 4.25" x5.5." It is hand cut and scored from high quality card stock with a bit of a shimmer. I layered a silver and pale blue patterned paper and pale blue card stock on the front of the card. I fringe quilled two flowers and then added a little sparkle. I lightly scraped the front edges of the card to soften the lines. I love, love, love this shade of green. It feels to springy and new. The card stock has slightly raised dots and has a good feel. I hand cut and scored the cards, which measure approximately 3" x 3," and then rounded all four corners. I embellished the front of the card with laser-cut butterflies and stamped the inside with "thank you." The dots cling to the stamp just slightly, giving the message a slightly worn appeal. I think this juxtaposes nicely with the modern feel of the front of the card. The set includes four cards and white envelopes. All materials are archival quality.

I hand cut and scored the card from a textured blue-green card stock. There are three handmade flowers on the front with a gem in the center of each.
