This mod leather folio is made of a thick and supple cowhide with a highly tactile surface, and is perfectly sized to fit letter sized documents, file folders, envelopes, even most magazines and small presentation portfolios will fit inside rather nicely. This piece will soften and gain a nice weathered patina with use. It is cut by hand with the edges left raw for finish that is both modern and rustic, and finished with a simple metal stud.

I make these leather bookends from a thick and supple cowhide with a textured surface that you’ll love to get your hands on. The leather is heavily pigmented and sealed for a modern finish. Each beanbag styled pouch is securely sewn with heavy duty thread, and loosely filled with pea-sized gravel, giving the pair ample heft, while allowing them to be folded or an end to be flattened so they can stand freely. Be careful though: people can’t seem to stop handling them, so your books may just wind up lying flat most of the time.

I make these leather bookends from a thick and supple cowhide with a textured surface that you’ll love to get your hands on. The leather is heavily pigmented and sealed for a modern finish. Each beanbag styled pouch is securely sewn with heavy duty thread, and loosely filled with just under 2 pounds of pea-sized gravel, giving the pair ample heft, while allowing them to be folded or an end to be flattened so they can stand freely. Be careful though: people can’t seem to stop handling them, so your books may just wind up lying flat most of the time.

In response to popular demand, I’m introducing my Leather Beanbag Bookends in a new dark brown! This time, I’ve cut them from a very sturdy piece of vegetable tanned saddle-weight cowhide with a beautiful oiled finish. This leather starts out tough, but will break down and age well with regular use, developing a high-character patina over time, much like a well worn and comfortable pair of shoes.

Each pair is cut by hand with the edges left raw for a finish that is both modern and rugged. I make these leather bookends from a thick and supple cowhide with a textured surface that you’ll love to get your hands on. The leather is heavily pigmented and sealed for a modern finish. Each beanbag styled pouch is securely sewn with heavy duty thread, and loosely filled with pea-sized gravel, giving the pair ample heft, while allowing them to be folded or an end to be flattened so they can stand freely. Be careful though: people can’t seem to stop handling them, so your books may just wind up lying flat most of the time.
