A high quality, fine art print of the original oil painting. You can really see the textures of the collage elements in this one. I've used bits of Chinese papers from my trip to Beijing and gold leaf paper. This is a limited edition of 250, all signed and numbered by the artist including title and date.

NOTE: Please allow for slight differences in overall color due to screen setting variations. I'm very careful to try and match the screen colors to the original painting as well as the print - but there will be differences between how images look on a computer screen and how they appear in print.

Size: Printed image measures 6" x 6". Trimmed paper size is 8" x 8" to allow for a 1 inch white border so you can choose a custom mat and/or frame of your choice. (Sold unframed)

Prayer Ties and The Messenger

This painting is the third in a series of paintings inspired by a challenging time in my life when my newborn daughter was in the hospital recovering from surgeries for the first 6 weeks of her life. Prayer ties are used by many cultures and symbolize in a tangible way, the prayers we send out to the Universe.

It is painted on professional artisan cradled wood panel and the size is 8x8 inches, 1 inch deep. No need to frame - sealed/varnished wood is left otherwise unpainted on the sides to show off natural maple grain of the wood which compliments the paintings nicely, or you can choose to frame it in a more traditional way.
