So what is "stroopwafels"? Also called "Pitzels".

They are two layers of baked waffle cookies with a unique design pattern on each cookie. They are sandwiched with caramel sauce in the center of the two cookies.

I want to make this waffle cookie a little more interesting so I added a few teaspoons of flax seed powder in the waffles. Flax seed gives the baked goods that little toasty taste. For people who have tried my flax seed oatmeal cookies, you know what am I talking about ;D.

I am also using homemade lavender infuse caramel sauce. If you like clove caramel, or cinnamon caramel, honey, just let me know in the message at the check out. It comes with regular caramel sauce if you don't specify.

This is a soft and buttery cookie finished with a thin layer of lemony icing on top. To give this classic cookie a little zing - I added a little black pepper. You will feel that little heat on your tongue even after you finished the cookie. It's not over powering, just right amount of zing. So it is sweet, lemony and the heat! They are the cutest and yummiest Macaroons ever!

The macaroons are moist inside, sweet allover, with a little toasted coconut on top. I added a little of my special cinnamon spice to them. You will notice these are not your everyday coconut macaroons when you bite into it.

It takes me 4 to 5 bites to finish the Macaroon, but my husband can do it in 2 to 3 bites - he is a pig! (just so you know how big they are).

I was looking through my cookbooks a few day ago and found this great recipe. It's not too sweet, and has all good stuff in it! Take them with you to a summer hike, afternoon snack, eat them with your favorite milk, or have them while chilling in front of the TV.

This granola is very simple and healthy to eat. Oats, chopped walnut, raisins, and flax seed meal that is tossed in sugar, honey and spices. Bake them in the oven until they are golden brown.

Like my "flax seed oatmeal cookies" and "Stroopwafels with Lavender Caramel", they all have flax seeds in them, which gives them that little toasty taste. For people who have tried my flax seed goodies, you know what am I talking about!

So what is Biscotti?
Biscotti is a Italian twice baked biscuit/cookies. They are easy to store and last longer then normal cookies.

I like to have them with my coffee, sometimes with tea. I know someone who likes it without coffee or tea....

It is dark chocolate with my very own pumpkin spices that I use often in my baking and cooking. Chopped mix nuts, chocolate and spices....YUM!

I love green tea!
In Asia people use green tea not just for drinking, but also use in cooking - like making noodles, ice cream, candy, and much more.

So one morning I was having green tea with some of my own cookies and thinking, why don't I use green tea in my cookies!?

I found this green tea powder at the local Asian store and I don't really like to use food coloring in my baking. I went home and tried a few different recipes that I have. After a few tries, I finally found one that turned out the best!

So my Green Tea Shortbread Cookies were born!

It is buttery and has very light green tea taste to it, and it is low in sugar.

You will have a very different experience with these little things. Each cookie is about 1". You will get two baker's dozen of these cookies.

Cornmeal Lime Shortbread Cookies:

It did to my husband, but he now thinks they are very tasty.
It is not too sweet, it has that buttery, crunchy, sandy texture and at the end you will get a little hint of lime taste to it. You'll taste all that in one little

Rich Chocolate Torte II

This is my favorite gluten free torte so far (I don't have a wheat allergy). It tastes just like a regular torte. My husband didn't even notice that the torte is gluten free.

The outer layer of the cake is a little crusty, inside the cake is vey rich and moist with little bites of chocolate chips.

This is a low sugar cake. It goes well with a cup of coffee or tea, maybe a dollop of whipped cream too :D

Southern Nutty Divinity

This is my first time I have tasted divinity. So good! Someone here at Etsy asked me if I knew how to make pecan divinity, but I had no idea what it is! After doing some research, now I know.

They are sweet, nutty, fluffy, with an airy texture. They taste like marshmallow nougat. Nibble them while watching TV, or as a treat.

While most people like to use just pecan, I used mix nuts in my divinity. Toasted nuts are folded into the divinity, then I free fall them on the sheet pan with an ice cream scoop.

It looks just like any other oatmeal cookie, but what you don't know is that there are flax seeds in it. What is Flax Seed? To give you just a little more information about flax seeds, I found this on Wikipedia:

"Flax seeds contain high levels of lignans and Omega-3 fatty acids. Lignans may benefit the heart, possess anti-cancer properties....."

"Flax seeds come in two basic varieties, brown and yellow or golden, with most types having similar nutritional values and equal amounts of short-chain omega-3 fatty acids."

"Ground flax seeds can also be mixed in with oatmeal, yogurt, water (similar to Metamucil), or any other food item where a nutty flavour is appropriate."
