It has been my pleasure to design this lovely Garmisch Murals Jacket Purse. This purse is unique and you will not find it anywhere else.
A lot of hand sewing with needle and thread went into the making of this purse.

The jacket is felted blue with a fun yarn trim hand attached.
The colorful cozy turtleneck is the perfect soft pocket for your cell phone.
No more reaching around the bottom of your purse for your ringing phone!

The jacket is fully lined. It has a magnetic snap and a matching pocket on the inside.

The straps can be used three ways:

1) An adjustable shoulder strap
2) As a "messenger" or cross-body strap
3) The hooks on the straps can be adjusted to form a small handle that can be hand carried or shoulder carried.

I took my inspiration for this BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S Dress/Jacket Purse from Audrey Hepburn and her unique style and charm!

It has been my pleasure to design this lovely Jacket/Dress. This purse is unique and you will not find it anywhere else. A lot of hand sewing with needle and thread went into the making of this purse. The front of the dress is made with beautiful polka dot ruffles that were attached by hand and an empire waist with lovely white trim with pearls. The dress itself is Black Satin!

The front of the dress is the perfect soft pocket for your cell phone. No more reaching around the bottom of your purse for your ringing phone!

The straps can be used three ways:

It has been my pleasure to design this artsy purse resembling a Jacket/Skirt and Ruffled Shirt just in time for Spring. This purse is unique and you will not find it anywhere else.
The orange ruffled blouse is silk shantung and was completely hand stitched. It's the perfect soft pocket for your cell phone.

The piped skirt has green ticking!

The purse is a textured yellow and has sequins on front. It has black lining with matching pocket inside and a magnetic snap closure.

7 Layer Skirt of Nazare Purse OOAK Handbag PORTUGUESE

I took my inspiration for this 7 layer skirt from the lovely seaside town of Nazaré Portugal where the women wear 7 layers to their skirts! Legend tells us that the 7 skirts (or petticoats) represent seven virtues, seven days of the week, seven colors of the rainbow, 7 waves of the sea, among other explanations. Everyone agrees on one thing; the tradition of the 7 skirts of the women of Nazaré is in close relation to the sea. The women traditionally waited on the beach for their husbands and sons to return from the sea after a night of fishing. Often, they would have to wait for hours and they used the various layers of their skirts to cover their head and shoulders from the cold and the remaining layers to protect their legs. The name Nazaré means Nazareth in English!

On festive occasions, a black velvet ribbon was used on their top layer or apron and often lace trim is applied. Many of the 7 layers were made of “Chita”. "Chita de Alcobaça" is a Portuguese fabric. In the past it was used by poor women to make their blouses and dresses. Bright colors and joyful patterns were used to emblish "chita" as it was a very modest fabric.

The top is made with a beautiful silk flowered top with ruffles that were attached by hand. The top has an orange shantung silk pleated ruffle and a green shantung silk tie belt. The skirt is blue jean for Spring fun!
