$50.00
Introducing the Lithe Collection. A new type of soft cover journal that is flexible, durable and still a Handcrafted ORIGINAL.

I start by harvesting VINTAGE BOOK CLOTH from obsolete and discarded books, juxtaposing the images, type and textures, and sewing them together into an artistic collage, at times adding free-hand embroidered embellishments with my sewing machine.

The signatures (inner pages) are blank and made from 100% recycled paper and HAND BOUND. The end papers and page separators are unique, having also been culled from vintage books. This is a soft cover journal. I combine 3 layers: the book cloth, cotton fiber reinforcement, and the end papers to form a flexible and durable cover.

This one-of-a-kind journal is great for writing or sketching and MAKES A PERFECT GIFT for anyone, especially the writer who appreciates art and fine craftsmanship.

I use only the highest-quality materials available. Feel free to email me if you’d like a complete list.

Book Dimensions: (approximate):
4.25" x 5.5" x 1"
