Weessels(wee vessels)such as this soft transparent lavender opaque one are even smaller than standard miniature vessels and offer more choices for incorporation into jewelry designs or as a smaller pendant. This one is just over an inch long and about an inch from handle to handle. The handles are just exactly 4mm wide.

If you are looking for a finished piece of jewelry, this weessel would look lovely with the leather cord option I have available in my shop. If you purchase them together, I will gladly assemble them for you into a ready-to-wear necklace.

All of my work is kiln annealed for durability and cleaned thoroughly.

This miniature vessel is whirled in pinks both opaque and transparent, with just a hint of purple. Sweet!

The vessel is about an inch from handle to handle and about an inch and a half from the bottom or tail to the top of the lip. All of my vessels are kiln annealed for durability and cleaned thoroughly.

It can hold essential oil, perfume, sand from a favorite beach, prayers or affirmations, even a small amount of cremations. Anything you can imagine!

Beach Ball Necklace

This blown, hollow vessel is made from a clear German Lauscha glass known for its optical clarity. I then filled it with a variety of tiny seashells I find near the lighthouse on Sanibel Island Florida. The combination is a beach you can wear!

The fixed top is sterling silver with a fine silver wire wrapped bail. The base of the wire is melted silver so the pendant swivels freely and doesn’t get kinked. It is strung on thin, black leather cord, about 18 inches, with a sterling C-clasp.

The shape is a round vessel at about an inch and a half from the cap to the bottom and about 23mm in diameter. My vessels are kiln annealed for durability and cleaned thoroughly. All of the metal components are at least .925 sterling silver.

Just like my filled globes, I offer here an unfilled and uncapped globe for you to fill with your favorite tiny treasures. It can hold a lock of hair, herbs or flowers, essential oil, perfume, sand from a favorite beach, prayers or affirmations, even a small amount of cremations. Anything you can imagine! The opening is about 5mm so what ever you imagine will need to be smaller or flexible. This would make a lovely and thoughtful gift for anyone.

Please note this listing is for an unfilled pendant only.

The globe is about 20mm and the sterling silver cap is about 16mm in diameter. The fine silver bail is about 5mm and made from 18 gauge wire. To assemble a pendant, you will need a strong 2 part epoxy. I have a listing for epoxy if needed. Please note, crazy glue or other adhesives really don’t have the durability needed to hold the cap onto the globe. I found this out with test pieces. Epoxy has been the only solution I’ve found.

As for neck cords, I thought this might be something the customer would like to add on their own so I have not included any here. I am glad to make 1mm black leather necklaces or ribbon cords in any length you like, just drop me a line and we can work it out.

I give up on this glass. It is a lovely slightly translucent shade of lavender...until it's photographed. I've tried every setting on the camera but still the color drains from it like a cheap, sparklie vampire simile. The first photo was taken in daylight which shows its true colors. The rest of the pictures give you an idea of shape and scale. Because of the leap of faith you will have to take, believing me that it is a lovely shade after all, I've discounted the price a bit.
