Remember those interchangeable monsters from Hanna-Barbera cartoons? The Hot Lava Monster that had the same inverted V mouth and wheezy shriek as the Yeti?

They've haunted me till I created a set of prints / cards fixing them for myself. This Yeti might be my favorite with its yak-like horns and blue and white fur. I suspect it likes a carbonated beverage.

Original colored pencil drawing reproduced digitally with a Canon CLC 4000 laser printer and mounted with black photocorners on toothy and thick archival 140lb coldpress watercolor paper. The image is about 1.75 x 2.5" and the paper has been ripped down by hand to about 3.5 x 5.25" leaving a nice rough edge.

Expect variation even among prints of the same monster because I made a template of multiple drawings. I print each template and hand cut the images for mounting. Colors may vary from what you see on your monitor.

Each card is unique and signed on the back.

Shipped with protective cardboard/cardstock.

Monstrous Industries was commissioned to create this zine for the premiere of the campy nurse zombie movie, Graveyard Alive! A Zombie Nurse in Love.

The zine has zombie comics, advice on dealing with zombies, Danya and Kaleigh from Monstress 3 return in a new--totally respectful--fan fiction parody, "Prognosis: Love!" plus an activity section and "meat" recipes.

Illustrated with photos from an old Life Magazine, drawings for Gray's Anatomy and original comics.
