The saying on this card goes;

The saying and the pictures seemed to come together naturally to make this collage.

This is done on matte board cut to size 2.5" x 3.5". This collage started with some decorative papers. Then I have added some reprints of two old photographs. One is of a young girl and the other is a young man with a top hat on. The saying was taken from a little old pamphlet that I have.

There is a piece of old lace with some vintage rhinestones in different colors on top. A little piece of tatted lace. Three mother of pearl buttons, gold dresden pieces, a couple of tiny faux pearls. Around the edge is some German tinsel wire.
This does have a wire hanger.

This is one of a kind original collage
It is signed and dated on the back.

Here is another stocking ornament made from a piece of an old vintage quilt that has been used and abused over the years. Pieces of it has found a new home by being made into a little stocking ornament.
Marjorie has taken a piece of this quilt backed it with red felt added a vintage metal button and a ribbon to hang this by. It has been stitched together and does not have an opening.
This measures 4 1/2" x 3 1/4".

Little stitched garden pincushion, recycled bottle cap, blue and purple

This little embroidered pincushion has been made by my mom, Marjorie.

The outside is done in felt with hand embroidered flowers and patterns. She has filled it with wool, put in some old washers or nuts (nuts and bolts) to give it some weight.
Sometimes you can shake these and hear the little metal pieces in the bottom. They will not interfere with sticking pins and needles in it.

This one measures about 1 1/4" across and almost 1 1/2" high. It has purple felt around the side with over-dyed pink and green embroidery. The top is a light blue felt with little pink and blue embroidered flowers. The bottom is covered with a turquoise felt.
