ACEO Collage, I will not say I love you, Sneak Attack Support Item

$6.00
The saying on this card goes;

"I will not say I love you,
I much prefer to show it;
I will not say I plague you,
Because I'm sure you know it."
-Geo. M. Vickers.

The saying and the pictures seemed to come together naturally to make this collage.

This is done on matte board cut to size 2.5" x 3.5". This collage started with some decorative papers. Then I have added some reprints of two old photographs. One is of a young girl and the other is a young man with a top hat on. The saying was taken from a little old pamphlet that I have.

There is a piece of old lace with some vintage rhinestones in different colors on top. A little piece of tatted lace. Three mother of pearl buttons, gold dresden pieces, a couple of tiny faux pearls. Around the edge is some German tinsel wire.
This does have a wire hanger.

This is one of a kind original collage
It is signed and dated on the back.

All money from the sale of this item will go toward supporting sneak attacks!
Go to www.handmademovement.com for more info on sneak attacks. If you want to find items listed by other sellers, search for SA Support under tags. Thank you for helping me support new Etsy sellers!

She has filled it with wool, put in some old washers or nuts (nuts and bolts) to give it some weight.
Sometimes you can shake these and hear the little metal pieces in the bottom. They will not interfere with sticking pins and needles in it.

This one measures about 1 1/4" across and almost 1 1/2" high. It has purple felt around the side with over-dyed pink and green embroidery. The top is a light blue felt with little pink and blue embroidered flowers. Mom thought she would try it a little differently this time. (she must not have liked the outcome as she went back to making them the other way.)

The outside is done in felt with hand embroidered flowers and patterns. She has filled it with wool, put in some old washers or nuts (nuts and bolts) to give it some weight.
Sometimes you can shake these and hear the little metal pieces in the bottom. It has been backed with decorative paper and the front has been coated with colored tissue papers. A reprinted label, an old calendar month from a 1952 farmers almanac and some other old odds and ends have been added to make this collage.
There are 2 delightful garden charms added to this also.
The garden charms were purchased from
BusyBeading.etsy.com
who is a wonderful Etsy seller.

This is signed and dated on the back

All printing and reproduction rights are reserved by the artist.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals.

ACEOs are collectible little pieces of art.
Run's PP Challenge, Original collage, the mysterious pp

This has some odd and ends of different scrapes and doodads added. The image of the lady and some of the paper was given to me by goodgosh.etsy.com
This has some glitter and rhinstones added for that little extra sparkle. It has been coated with a matte finish and has some beads and ribbon added onto the hanger.
On this it says,
"Karen gleefully created a mysterious PP"

All printing and reproduction rights are reserved by the artist.
________________________________________
The S.N.E.A.K.
Jack-O-Lantern Chalkware, made from a vintage chocolate mold

$12.00
This Jack-O-Lantern has arrived just in time for Halloween.
(although I keep some of these out all year round)

It is made from a vintage chocolate mold,
and is what is called chalkware. Once it is poured and cured it needs to dry for several days before it is painted.
The finishing touches are added after this was coated with a spray finish. A little bit of orange glitter was added at the top and bottom. He measures just about 3 1/4" tall by 2 1/2" wide.
This is signed and dated.

One thing with chalkware is that it is NOT durable with moisture. Even though it has been sealed it is not advisable to use any water or damp cloth on it.
(dry clean only...meaning just use a dry cloth if needed)

(I have included a picture of the mold, but it is not for sale, only the painted Jack-O-Lantern is for sale)

*All printing and reproduction rights are reserved by the artist*
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

The S.N.E.A.K.
Original ACEO collage, True friends

$6.00
"True friends are never apart,
maybe in distance,
but not in heart."

Found this quote while making some special ACEOs for a close friend of mine. That and the reprinted photo of a girl on the telephone just seemed to go together naturally.

This has some decorative tissue paper as a background. Some buttons, rhinestones, a bit of lace and a few other odds and ends added to complete this small collage.
It is done on a piece of illustration board in the ACEO size of 2 1/2"x 3 1/2". This has a final coating of modpodge on the front and back. It is signed and dated on the back of the collage.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals.

ACEOs are collectible little pieces of art. An ACEO is always two and one-half inches by three and one-half inches. That is the size of a standard sports trading card. The rule about size is the ONLY rule in the ACEO world. An ACEO can be created in any medium the artist desires: paint, colored pencils, ink, etc.
There are even ACEOs made from wood, clay, fabric, and metal.

Original ACEO collage, Mother

This one has a reprinted photo of a mother and daughter, a dictionary page with the definition of mother. Some old mother of pearl buttons, lace piece, and odd and ends added to complete this picture.
It has a little wire hanger and is signed and dated on the back.
This collage measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" and is an original collage,

ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals.

ACEOs are collectible little pieces of art. An ACEO is always two and one-half inches by three and one-half inches. That is the size of a standard sports trading card. The rule about size is the ONLY rule in the ACEO world. An ACEO can be created in any medium the artist desires: paint, colored pencils, ink, etc.
There are even ACEOs made from wood, clay, fabric, and metal.

The colors are joyful and bright.
The quote on this says;
"To live in hearts we leave behind, is not to die."
~Thomas Campbell~
This is done on a piece of illustration board to the size of 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" .
Little gray embroidered felt pincushion in miniature china pot

The little pot is made in Germany and says in faded gold letters, "Go way back"

These new pincushions that she is making are put in little old china or glass pieces that have had better days themselves. Some of these are in perfect condition, while others may have a little chip or crack here and there. They are little up-cycled pieces looking for a new life and have been granted this as pincushion holders.

Mom has not glued these pincushions into these pieces. Instead she has rolled up some felt stitched it together and then added a little tab of glue to the top and added the pincushion onto that. This whole little felt piece can be removed from the little glass or china holder.

This pincushion is 2 1/4" tall and measures about 2 1/2" across with the handle. This pot is in good shape, I did not see any cracks or chips.
She used gray felt with light and dark pink (over-dyed floss) embroidered flowers on the top.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

The S.N.E.A.K. Some of these are in perfect condition, while others may have a little chip or crack here and there. They are little up-cycled pieces looking for a new life and have been granted this as pincushion holders.

Mom has not glued these pincushions into these pieces. This metal salt is silver tone, could be pewter as it has a mark on the bottom. This holder is in pretty good shape and goes very nicely with the embroidered pincushion.
She used light blue felt with pink and purple(over-dyed floss) embroidered flowers on the top.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

The S.N.E.A.K. The saying on this is a Jewish proverb;
"God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers"

The mother with two children is reprinted from a hand drawn vintage place card. Also reprinted and shrunk down is a Mother's Day postcard with a pair of swans. There are some dried flowers, vintage buttons and a little piece of vintage tatted lace. Some tiny old rhinestones and faux pearls have been placed on this along with some old gold cording, gold dresden scraps and little metal doodads. The background was done with some decorative tissue papers. This whole thing is topped off with sprinkling of mica flakes.

signed and dated

The frame is wood, painted an off white with a little bit of antiquing, and two corners with a little gold tissue paper scrolls.

It measures 6" x 4" (without the frame) with the frame it measures about 7 7/8" x 6".
This is done on matte board and is backed and edged with decorative papers. It could be removed from the frame. There is no glass included with the frame/picture.

All money from the sale of this item will go toward supporting sneak attacks!
Go to www.handmademovement.com for more info on sneak attacks.
Easter rabbit and mother hen, yellow Easter egg ornament

$10.00
The scene depicted in this egg is a big ole Easter rabbit with a basket of eggs trying to convince mother hen that they are not her's. Daddy rooster is hanging out in the background.

The egg itself was a plastic egg with papermache over it. I then cut a window in it and covered the inside with tissue paper and then painted it blue and sprinkled some old glitter I had.
These pieces all came from the same vintage postcard. Shrunk to the perfect size for this egg. They have been highlighted with some very fine glitter. There are some flowers placed around inside and the grass is from an old Easter basket.

The hanger is just twisted florist wire with some beads added to it. There is also a bit of wire hanging down from the bottom of the egg with a couple of beads and a little metal finding.

The outside of the egg has been painted a pale yellow with some old gold dresden scraps and then finished with the found glitter. The egg measures about 2 1/4" x 1 1/4"

This ornament was inspired by Easter egg ornaments that my mom used to make. She would fill them with little scenes just like these. She used real eggs where I have used plastic papermache coated ones for durability.

I am always happy to combine shipping and can usually ship more than one item for the same price.
Sold on Mar 29, 2009

She has filled it with wool, put in some old washers or nuts (nuts and bolts) to give it some weight.
Sometimes you can shake these and hear the little metal pieces in the bottom. They will not interfere with sticking pins and needles in it.

This one measures about 1 1/4" across and 1 1/2" high. It has purple felt around the side with white and blue embroidery. The top is a tan felt with light white and light blue embroidered flowers. The bottom is covered with a darker pruple felt.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

The S.N.E.A.K. It has a beehive appliqued on and a spray of embroidered flowers on either side of the beehive.

It has a pink ribbon bow attached at the top.
This opens up so the needles can be stashed inside.
Parading Rabbits, Green Easter Egg Ornament

$10.00
This Easter egg has a parade of six little Easter bunnies. In front of them marches a little girl holding an umbrella. It also says Easter Greetings above the rabbits.

The egg itself was a plastic egg with papermache over it. I then cut a window in it and covered the inside with tissue paper and then painted it blue and sprinkled some old glitter I had.
The inside pictures come from a vintage greeting card that I have shrunk down and cut to fit inside the egg. They have been highlighted with some very fine glitter. I have added a some old little flowers and the grass is from an old Easter basket.

The hanger is just twisted florist wire with some beads added to it. On the bottom of the egg hangs a couple more beads.

The outside of the egg has been painted a pale green with some old gold dresden scraps and then finished with the found glitter.

These were inspired by Easter egg ornaments that my mom used to make. She used real eggs, but she put all kinds of little scenes inside. Mine are very similar, just a little more durable.

I am always happy to combine shipping and can usually ship more than one item for the same price.

Little blue and white Delft hand embroidered felt pincushion

$15.00
Okay, here is another one of mom's little creations.

This is a blue and white pincushion placed in a little Delft toothpick holder(?) These new pincushions that she is making are put in little old china or glass pieces that have had better days themselves.

This pincushion is just shy of 2 1/2" tall and measures about 1 1/4" across. She used a dark blue felt with white and light blue embroidered flowers on the top. The holder does have some little chips on the top edge, but that just adds to it's character.

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

The S.N.E.A.K.
