Judging by the condition of this set of housekeeping lusterware toys, no child ever had the pleasure of playing with its four unique pieces. Consisting of a miniature cream-colored scale, blender, iron and teapot, the floral motif is intact on all but the scale and the navy blue accents are slightly chipped on the blender. The backs of each are unpainted. Stamped K’s Collection on the bottom, the measurements are as follows:

Its blue and pale green lusterware is in very good condition with dots of darker green, violet, yellow and orange added to the black lined design. Published in 1933 by Doubleday, Doran & Company, it features works by Ernest Hemingway, Dorothy Parker, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Robert Frost, E.E. Cummings and many more.
