Amazing Vintage Clip Necklace Black Shoe Clip and Gold Cuff Links

$22.00
This began as a upcyclebb project, I have had these pieces for several years debating what to do with them. The wonderful (I think) Bakelite Shoe Clip, has a great Art Nouveau style. always knew this would make a wonderful necklace focal. Many years ago I acquired a box of these great gold plated cuff links. I cemented them to the back of the clip and then wrapped them in brass wire. To finish off the back it is covered in fur. I made a strap of fibers, 6mm Swarovski Crystals and a gold tone floral hook and eye. You can wear it as a necklace or remove it and clip it to a breast pocket on your favorite blazer.

Knot Insane... Time travels from an altered state of mind.

$195.00
This project became my obsession to create the perfect upcyclebb project. After endless hours of creating and digging for the perfect items, the lights went out!!! Literally the lights went out on January 12th at 9:30 PM. The great Ice Storm of 2007. Being a multi-tasker and just a little insane..... what to do in total darkness 24/7 for 14 days (besides survive and survival it was, no heat sub freezing temperatures, no cable, no Internet, no Ott light and the insanity grew) And then I lost it, my month long endeavor would never make it into the contest!!!! So I spent my daylight hours parked in front of the picture glass window in 3 layers of clothes, in one room with 4 people, 3 dogs, 2 finches, 1 hamster (who does not sleep at night) and one tarantula!!! And there I knotted and strung and added and added everything and anything to keep my sanity. And the no longer upcycle, gone a bit mad, but Knot insane began to take on a life of it's own. I could never list what is involved in this piece. The knotwork has vintage lapel pins and buttons strung onto a focal piece of a skeleton key with a watch case and tons of vintage metalwork all taken beyond bling with hundreds of linen tassels with stones, bones, crystals and more. The toggle is a vintage ladies watch case (with fibers for comfort) and a vintage plastic button. This is a part of my mind and soul. This piece will create as many conversations as it will altered thoughts of all the places and people these pins and buttons and bits of history have touched.

This hangs 18" with necklace strap being 24" long and 6" of focal.DOUBLE CLICK ON PHOTO'S FOR CLOSEUPS!!
This would be a fun necklace to wear or frame on velvet as a conversation piece.

This is attached to a vintage rhinestone AB bracelet. Then the side pieces are created from old pins and earrings wired together with a few lampwork beads for bling. Her hairpieces are vintage rhinestone buttons and the seed beads were recycled off of another necklace. To finish her off I found this great Asian style choker, I used the existing clasp of the choker which is hidden under one of the assemblages. This is an entry in the upcycleBB contest. FREE SHIPPING in contenental US, others pay actual shipping costs from 65804.
