Spikenard has been enjoyed as a sacred offering for the body for thousands of years. Then, very costly and often mixed with henna flowers, it was considered to represent sacred prosperity.
Mary Magdalena used it to massage the feet of Jesus. She knew what she was doing!
Ah but spikenard goes beyond all that. Did you know that it is in the valerian family and makes for a great deodorant and it's actually a great helper for the immune system?

a hint of Blood Orange and I mean a smidge and then you know, I couldn't stop.
I did not allow the cocoa butter to blend with the soap base but simply tempered it with the dark chocolate. And here is where most of the esential oils lie. If I like the lather, I might want to make one with rose and frankincense.

A soap base with extra virgin fruity love oil and organic cold pressed coconut oil.

Do you remember when years ago I made a soap like this..it was amazing. What with dark chocolate throughout and vanilla scent wafing yes, I said waifing through the air!
Not just for the ladies iether. You guys out there should try this and then go hug your lady and she will say' " wow, you smell good enough to eat!"

For Winter and protection from all sorts of harmless critters. You just have to know what to do with them. Cade is anti microbial so it is excellent for stressed skin like teens get. I highly recommend this soap for anyone wishing to arm themselves from winter’s harshness.
Made with pure essential oils within a soap base of coconut and olive both cold pressed.
This soap smells like dirt in the mountains right before it snows. You become aware of crisp cold air all around you and because you have been walking uphill you are not cold at all. Then you notice the smell, of the trees, or the moist ground and the dead leaves beneath your feet. You may realize that the trees knew you were there all along.

Mere words cannot describe the pure sandalwood bath! Enjoy this treat. Rememeber that it's guest size and offers a few washes.
Organic Extra virgin coconut oil, and extra virgin olive oil soap base with essential oils of sandalwood (India) and petitgrain Sur Fluer which is almost neroli if you ask me!

One of my favorites of the year.
I made some really amamzing soaps in 2009.
Top three would be Oakmoss Violet Leaf with cracked pepper, Salty Hag (bergamot and yuzu) and Sandalwood Petitgrain..oh man...I love my job!

It had to happen, that I should love this combo! Absolutely lovely and creamy soap. Handcrafted with organic coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil as the soap base. The essential oils are simply Sumatra patchouli and organic petitgain with a drop or two of real organic neroli.

The experience of using homemade soap is purely amazing because it gives us a chance to honor the old ways and honor our families with something special.
