how cool are these? book bookshelves!

we've taken an amazing, vintage, unwanted book and turned it into sweet home decor with a purpose!

once these bookshelves are installed and decorated with books or other objects, it appears as if they are floating on the wall...an invisible bookshelf!

these are easy to install- simply screw the metal bracket into the wall you wish to hang your shelf on with the screws provided. voila! an awesome new shelf that is able to hold up to 5 lbs that sits snug against the wall!

this particular book is the "giant book of crafts". it measures 11 1/4" long by 8 1/2" wide by 1 1/2" tall with the bracket sitting at 3 3/4" taller in the back. the bracket to hang the shelf is embedded securely in the book and opening the book is not recommended. the last 2 images are not of the bookshelf you will receive, but of our personal bookshelves and how amazing they look hung and decorated. this one would be a perfect gift for a crafter!

please remember that these books are vintage and used. they can be scratched, have the pages colored or stained, and other imperfections. in my opinion, this gives these books more character and a better look for their new purpose in life.

the ultra mod birdie would look super cool on a bookshelf or window sill.

vintage ceramic partridge (or quail) is painted pea green and glazed. it's also in fantastic condition and measures about 4.25" tall by 2.5" wide.

avon pitcher and bowl

this small glass pitcher and wash bowl set is beautiful. it reminds me of something to be found in a victorian powder room.

this jadeite marble pitcher has a removal top and rests in a matching bowl. it is adorned with a rose design and was made by avon in 1978. it originally held bath oil. it measures 6" tall by 5" wide.

this is a vintage item. although it is in great condition, there are some imperfections from wear and tear over the years.

woodland cinderella bowl- vintage pyrex

i absolutely LOVE vintage pyrex and think it's perfect in a vintage or mod type kitchen.

this piece is a small tan mixing/serving bowl from the pyrex woodland collection circa 1978. it holds 750 mL and measures 6" across on the sides without handles, 7.5" on the sides with handles, and stands approximately 3" tall.

psst...this listing is for the pyrex dish only. you can't have my whisk or kitchen towel. but i'm sure you could find some similar somewhere else. ;)

so dainty and awesome!
