Smelling salts are back in style (at least in my early 19th century world!). While I certainly don't promote smoking, I love the scent of tobacco. Tobacco, like caffeine, is a stimulant and can relieve the symptoms of headache and migraine (which I personally suffer from). This smelling salt is balanced by hints of lavender and has a light smoky, tarry, and sweet scent.

Etymology: Nicotiana, in honour of Jean Nicot de Villemain, in 1559-61 the French ambassador in Portugal. He sent a box of pulverized tobacco to Catherine of Medici as a cure against her migraine. Lat. tabacum, from West Indian 'tabaco'.

Rich in antioxidants and oleic acid, this natural oil is cold pressed from the nut of the marula fruit. The bark, fruit kernel and nut of this tree are all used in one form or another. WHISKEY is quickly becoming my favorite scent. It is not a scent for every man -- this is a powerfully masculine scent that if a young Marlon Brando were to wear a Portland General Store scent, it would be this one. Elegance, strength, and charisma describe the fragrance of this eau de toilette. PALO SANTO is Spanish for "holy tree", describing the guaiac wood tree of Paraguay. Starting off balsamic and sweet, over time this scent reveals middle notes of floral and base notes of musk.
