This is just one of those things that started out as a bowl and morphed itself into something else! I used brown and plum wool yarn.

This is more of a tray than a felted bowl, and it's the perfect size for holding, among other things, scented pine cones. You could also use it for fruit or a few baked goodies. It would be great near the front door for keys and cell phone (protects wooden furniture!).

This piece was hand-crocheted with chocolate and gold yarn to give it a deliciously mottled appearance. Very elegant and understated!

Located in central New Mexico, Elephant Butte is somewhat of a watery recreation oasis for people all over the state. Especially during the warmer months, Elephant Butte tends to be extremely crowded.

On this late winter day, however, very few people were around. The feeling of peaceful solitude filled us as we lounged in the sand. This photo captures, for me, how I felt that day.
