I recently got a "Genuine Buddy" scooter and really wanted a decal to match. I couldn't find any decals that looked like my bike, so I designed one, complete with a white seat and white-walled tires. This decal can go on almost any smooth surface. Put it on your car window, your helmet (like I did) your laptop or your scoot. It measures 4.25 wide.

The listing is for the decal only, not the helmet. It comes with instructions for installation as well as removal.

I created the black silhouette from a photo of my new "Genuine Buddy" scooter and it's cut from recycled black jeans. The bag is generously sized and features recycled fringy white jeans stripes and soft, well worn blue jeans. The adjustable strap is from a jeans waistband. The body of this sturdy bag has heavy-duty interfacing. The lining is made with a fun combo of striped and polka dot, brown and turquoise fabric. It has two interior pockets, including one with a zipper.

The scooter and striping applique on the flap is securely fastened and stitched, but it's left to fringe on the edges for a casual look that will improve as you use it.

Makes a GREAT gift for the scooter-obsessed. Includes a FREE vinyl decal (shown on the helmet) to put almost anywhere.

I just love the floral print on the lining of this bag. It's big, bold, colorful and FUN. And it goes great with a pair of jeans.

Dia de los Muertos Black Jeans Tote

I first learned about Dia de los Muertos on a long weekend in Rosarito, Mexico (only 40 miles south of where I live). The novelty shops had colorful sugar skulls for sale (see my snapshot) that people used to decorate altars honoring the dead. As we walked around the city, we saw the these alters in shops, restaurants, even our hotel lobby.

I found this Alexander Henry pattern at a fabric store in San Francisco. Large skulls are appliqued on the outside of the bag, and mini skull fabric is used for the lining. Black Levi's jeans were deconstructed, then recycled into this very unique bag. It's generously sized at 19" wide by 12" high. Both back pockets from the jeans were used on the outsides of this bag.

The WILD side of this bag has five large skulls and fun fringe yarn sewn around the pocket. The MILD side of this bag has one mini skull sewn on the jeans pocket. A third pocket (with another appliqued skull) is on the inside of the tote and is divided in two.

This tote was made with sturdy interfacing to give it body and shape.

This is a little larger than my original FLY bag, and it's got a little handle to wrap around your wrist so it's super convenient when you need to carry just a few things. It measures about 9 x 7 inches. The flower print appliqued on the front is from a vintage smock. I bought it for a quarter at a yard sale and the darling old gal selling it to me kept telling me how useful smocks are and how smart I was to buy it. I didn't have the heart to tell her I would be cutting it up. The colors are amazing, a vivid robin's egg blue combined with a chartreuse center. It's so much prettier than a smock!

This bag is unlined and inside it looks like a pair of inside-out jeans.
