Pictures are great to remember your wedding day but why not a sketch of the gown you dreamed of since you were a little girl.

As a fashion design graduate of Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, PA, I used my degree and headed to work in New York City. I spent many years designing for companies like Macy's and David's Bridal using my illustration skills to sketch new designs season after season.

Great designers like Vera Wang, Melissa Sweet and Monique Lhuillier have been giving sketches to their celebrity brides for years. Why not feel alittle like a celebrity too!

What I need from you:
- Picture of your dress.(E-mail me (mhveils@yahoo.com) several pictures of you in it, magazine clipping or even your wedding website address if you have one.)

-Tell me what to focus on. If the back of the dress is the detail you fell in love with I can highlight that feature instead of the front view.

What you will recieve from me:
- A 11" x 13 1/2" (size limitations due to shipping envelope size) stylized sketch of your gown on acid free heavy weight Bristol paper. I interpret it as my eyes see it. I can not give you an exact replica.

- It will be sketched in black pen. White or ivory dress color and I can add a hint of color if your dress design includes such an element.

-I can add names and wedding date. Please make sure your spelling is correct, I can not be responsible for incorrect spelling.

-Your sketch will be presented in a black folder with a template for you to cut swatches to include with your sketch. If you have any left over fabric from alterations, swatches add a great finishing touch.(See pictures and of course this is optional.)

Yes, I said swirly pearly. I made this thinking of the ocean. Large and small loops are randomly wrapped with small pearls. Twisting and twirling, it's just fun to look at.

This tiara features loops at the ends to slip bobby pins through to hold it tight to you head. No slipping while dancing the night away.

This is a one of a kind veil considering it is made with a rhinestone piece I found while digging through my mass amounts of findings.

Never at a loss for ideas, I took an ivory satin yo-yo and added the rhinestone piece and some ivory chenille dotted russian veiling to create this vintage inspired look on a headband.

This piece would compliment and city hall style wedding dress or fall into step with even the most modern of ball gowns.

This headpiece is made with beautiful parchment roses that are an off white/cream color.

This headpiece would look great set slightly back on the head with an up do. But of course the choice is yours.

The three flowers measure about 7" across and 1 1/4" high. The entire piece attaches to the head with a plastic comb and a few bobby pins to hold it all secure.

This was one of my first creations. The white felt/organza flower has a beaded center and russian veiling with chenille dots and is attached to a metal headband.

Looking for something unique and one of a kind? Here it is. I upcycled a sweater that was just too small for me but had a beautiful felted flower on it. What better idea than to turn it into a headpiece.

No one else will have a piece like this. Although the flower already had sequins on it I added little pearls throughout to make it even more fancy. Satin backed with a plastic haircomb sure to keep it secure in any hairstyle.

This is a great vintage piece. Something out of the 60's but I can't say for sure. It kind of reminds me of the hat my grandmother wore to my mother's wedding. Seen in pictures of course.

This hat has a buckrum base covered with a soft pink/ivory colored silk and organza fabric. Flowers and leaf shapes. The inside of the hat measures 21 1/2" around. Label inside reads Union Made in the USA.

As with all my vintage pieces they come to you as is. I try to spruce items up as much as I can but I can't do much about any discoloration. Please look at the pictures closely. This hat looks pretty good for it's age.

Use your imagination but I think it would comliment any bride.

I was inspired by a headpiece frame I have had for years. It took until now to fully realize what I should do with this frame. Yo Yo's!! And there you have it.
