Sonora Sunrise and Sterling Lariat

Let's start with this gorgeous stone- Sonora Sunrise. Mother earth has combined Chrysocolla (Blues), Cuprite (Reds) and Tenorite (Blacks) in an incredible stone. I've cut this from a large rock I have into a long cabochon. From there it's snuggled into a bezel of fine silver and set on a sterling backplate. Embellished with a sterling silver baby bloom. The fine silver clasp also sports a baby bloom. There's a generous 23 inches of chain and the whole piece is finished with a lovely patina.

In addition to the many ways to wear a lariat, my sister had a suggestion: If you're wearing a backless dress for the holidays, why not wear the circle (clasp) in the front & have the stone piece dangle down your back? Sounds lovely doesn't it?

Measurements:
Chain- 23 inches
Clasp- 1 1/8" at the widest point (3cm)
Pendant- 2" long (just under 5cm) and 5/8" (16mm) at the widest point

~I cut the stone myself at the studio where I attend regular workshops. The metal work was done both in my home studio & at the workshop.
~The chain can be shortened upon request before I ship it out to you.
~The sterling used in this piece is recycled silver.

Sterling Raspberry Pendant Necklace

A sweet raspberry stone on a reticulated sterling pendant. Reticulation is a metalsmithing technique which adds a wonderful texture to the metal. The patina adds character and gives this a gloriously rustic and earthy quality. This looks like an artifact that was dug up from the earth and polished off. This piece can stand alone or layer it with your other necklaces.

Stone: 4mm (Lab grown corundum)
Width: 5mm
Length: 30mm including bail

~Why lab created you might wonder? With advances in science, we can now create some of the same stones found in nature. The chemical composition is the same, yet we're not harming our earth through mining. While I love my stones that were created by the earth, I've got a parcel of lab created stones to play with. The color & hardness is the same & I just feel good about using them!

Book pages from an early 1900's dictionary were used to create a scroll which is wire wrapped in sterling silver. A spray of gray and peacock pearls dance along the bottom. Amazingly light to wear, they have a sexy swing to them. This is unique jewelry for a unique woman. I have a similar pair myself and every time I wear them I get great comments from people.

Approx 2.5 inches long

Stormy peacock gray pearls- simple, casual elegance. The nacre is luminescent and in the light you'll see beautiful flashes of pinks, greens and blues. These are comfortable dressed up or dressed down. I believe that there's just something about pearls that make a girl feel special.

These pearls are approximately 3/8" (1cm). Simply hanging from a pair of handcrafted sterling silver extended kidney wires. The whole earring hangs about 1 3/4" (4cm) from the top to the bottom.

Organic Recycled Reclaimed Sterling Silver Nugget Stud Post Earrings

These post earrings are very organic in nature. The nuggets measure approximately 1/8 of an inch or 3-4 mm across. These are very meditative to make.....melting silver...watching it swirl around. It's a wonderful way to recycle scraps. Made on my workbench from melted sterling silver, I've then soldered on the post. Each one is hand finished. These earrings come with sterling butterfly nuts.

The simplicity of these make them perfect for even a second or third hole in your ear. I've "road tested" this design and they are very comfortable to wear. I sleep in mine.

Let me know in the notes to seller if you'd prefer shiny or oxidized- or I'll just surprise you!
