Please note that I've tweaked this pattern a bit so that the transition from the peak to the body of the hat is a bit smoother. Shouldn't affect the quality of your pictures. In fact, I expect it will only make them cuter.

Now that the winter months are fast approaching, it's time for adorable snuggly photos! This cocoon is the perfect prop for those snowy holiday baby pictures. It's inspired by a cocoon used by baby photographer Kelley Ryden. Action shots coming soon!

This cocoon is wide enough to hold a curled up baby (probably no older than a few weeks and 9ish pounds). Tuck baby's little legs up by his tummy, gently slide him into the cocoon, and pull the hood up over his head. Voila! The perfect pose!

If you like the style of this Little Eskimo Cocoon but would like it in a different color or color combo, just let me know! The yarn is hand-dyed, so if you can dream it, we can do it.

Because the stitching is nice and tight, baby can wear a normal diaper while in this cocoon, thus eliminating the need for washing. Spot clean with cool water only.

This cocoon is made of 100% merino wool, hand-dyed and handspun by the amazing Andrea of Spinup (http://spinup.etsy.com). It measures approximately 16-17" long, 9-10" wide, and has a beautiful faux fur trim accenting the hood. There are three options for the fur trim, so please see the additional thumbnails before purchasing.

I used the softest yarn imaginable for the body and hood of this cocoon - sure to put any little one to sleep in no time! The opening of the hood is accented with an intricate, tightly crocheted panel as well as short feather fluff for trim.

Cocoon measures approximately 16-17" long and 8-9" wide at rest so that baby looks teeny tiny in photographs. Tuck baby's little legs up by her tummy, slide her into the cocoon, and pull the hood up over her head for the perfect pose!

This little number is super cute, super soft, and way snuggly. Pair it with a curly little newborn and you get picture perfection! (I'm tweaking this pattern to make it less "floppy". There will be more buttons to keep sides in place, and leg holes will be a bit snugger.)

There are two available styles for this diaper cover:

The cover in the photo is a diaper-style cover that unbuttons and will easily slip under baby's bum. No need to wake a sleeping baby! Adjust the sides to fit that cute bum and you're good to go!

The second style is a pull-up style cover which is similar to a snug paid of baby shorts. Easy to slip on, and no chance of that ugly diaper showing in beautiful photos!
