An earthy, musky oil known to be a good anti-inflammatory, antidepressant & stress reliever. An essential oil that was really popular in the 60's and 70's and is now making a strong comeback. I describle the oil as very earthy and musky.

All the hand milled goat milk soaps are made from olive, coconut, and palm oils. Annie makes this base from scratch. The oils are heated and mixed with lye to make them hard this chemical reaction is called saponification. After saponification the lye no longer is present. The soap then dries in a big tub. Next the soap is grated and melted. The goat milk, essential oils, or fragrance oils, and pigment are added. Finally the soap is hand poured into its own individual mold. Each bar takes two months from start to finish. Why go to all the extra work? Hand milled means the soap is cooked twice and dried twice making a longer lasting bar of soap and does not melt away like other handmade soaps. The scents come out smelling truer. Goat milk is very moisturizing, mild, and good for sensitive skin. You can feel good about using Annie’s soap.
