Like new vintage mod coffee set! This great nine-piece set is probably from the 1970s. Olive, lime and blue color scheme is very contemporary!

Set includes: Coffee pot and lid, sugar bowl and lid, creamer, and four mugs.

I haven't found any identifying marks, but I'll keep looking!

Condition: Great vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Dimple in design on front of coffee pot is original.

Have tea for two with this set of vintage Franciscan “Sundance” earthenware dishes. Two tiny place settings include a bread/butter plate, a cup and a saucer.

Bread and Butter Plate: 6 ¾”

Condition: All pieces are in excellent used condition with no chips or cracks, and only minimal marks from use.

Set of vintage Franciscan “Sundance” earthenware serving platters, just in time for the holidays! You can fill out your set of Sundance dishes, or use these platters alone. Vibrant mod swirl design would coordinate with many contemporary patterns. Sundance platters are oven safe, too!

Large platter measures 13 ½ at widest point.
Medium platter measues 11 ¾ at widest point.

Condition: Medium platter is in great used condition. Larger platter has a thin vertical crack through width, visible in photos. Although the crack is also visible on the bottom, platter appears to be stable. Both platters have no chips and only minimal marks from use.

Americas Cup Etching by R.H. Palenske

America Wins in this vintage nautical etching depicting the first America’s Cup yacht race. The print was designed by illustrator Reinhold H. Palenske, and used to advertise the services of the Brown & Bigelow press in St. Paul, Minnesota. The attached holiday note is intended to be removed or flipped back for framing. This etching dates from the 1950s. The signature appears to be printed.

Text below image reads:
“America” Wins! First “America’s Cup Race” 1851
R.H. Palenske

Sheet size: 12” x 16”.
Image size: 8” x 10” (including text at bottom).
Could be easily framed within standard 8” x 10” mat opening.

Condition: Has some minor dents around border, and spot near upper right-hand corner. There is also faint discoloration in the clouds within the image, but this does not affect the overall fine quality of the print. No tears or significant issues with the sheet.

Reinhold H. Palenske (1884 - 1954) was an artist, illustrator and painter who studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His large body of work includes images of the old west, sports and horse racing, and the natural world.

Lake Wenatchee Vintage Pear Label

Vibrant vintage label for Lake Wenatchee Pears dates from the 1940s. This original label was never attached to a crate, and is in great condition.

Size: 10” x 7 1/4”.

Condition: Has been folded in upper-left corner, but this does not affect the quality of the image. No tears or discoloration.

Vintage labels look great hung in groups. I use standard square record album frames, and mount the labels with clear archival corners on top of neutral/kraft colored papers.

Antique Map of Great Britain and Ireland

Beautiful antique map of Great Britain and Ireland. Hand-colored copper engraving was originally published in a geography textbook, Hart’s Geographical Exercises. This map is from one of the earliest editions, possibly 1827. Map is in two pieces that have been very carefully glued together, as published in the book.

Sturdy, thick sheet measures 13 3/16” by 15 5/8”.

Title reads: Great Britain and Ireland, Drawn and Engraved to Illustrate Hart’s Geographical Exercises.

Tiny type along bottom reads:
D.H. Vance del.
Entered according to Act of Congress
J.H. Young Sc.

Condition: Sheet is very clean. No tears or stains. Overall color is subdued – first two photographs are more accurate representation of color of sheet. Three additional photos are scans showing details.

California Pottery Leaf-Shaped Dish

Rich fall colors for holiday entertaining! This California pottery oak leaf shaped dish is probably from the 1950s. Bright green and yellow leaf design is enhanced with white and brown veins. Edges are rimmed with gold plating. Dish is marked USA 809 on the yellow bottom.

Dish measures 9” x 6 1/2”. Highest point is about 2 1/8”.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Some gold appears to be rubbed off of rim, and there is faint crackling in the finish. No chips or cracks.

There was originally a larger matching dish (#808), which was the chip dish to this dip dish.

Antique Photogravure of Electra

Photogravure of Félix-Joseph Barrias’ painting of Electra. From a portfolio of images from the “chefs-d’oeuvre d’art of the International exhibition” in 1878. Gravure by Goupil; published by Gebbie & Barrie. Print is over 130 years old!

Thick sheet measures 11 5/8” by 16 7/8”. Image is 4 13/16” by 10 1/16”.

Condition: Image is very clean. Border has some water spots and discoloration, plus a little foxing, which could easily be masked by a mat when framed. Also missing small piece in upper right hand corner.

Electra was a princess in Greek mythology, the daughter of Agamemnon. She is is a featured character in Greek tragedies by Sophocles and Euripedes. She and her brother plotted against her mother and stepfather, who had murdered her father.

Barbie Solo In The Spotlight Vintage Original

Vintage Barbie Solo In The Spotlight #982 (1960-1964) black gown, pink chiffon scarf, shoes and microphone. I don’t know how Barbie walked in this slinky dress! It will not fit current Barbies, but vintage reproduction Barbies are available. Might make a great shadow box instead.

Condition: Dress is in great condition, with both snaps and the red flower intact. Serious Barbie collectors will notice that this set is missing the choker, long black gloves, and the other two pieces of the microphone stand. Scarf has one spot and a little discoloration. At least one of the shoes is not original: one is blank (possibly original) and the other is marked “Hong Kong”.

Found in a doll trunk of mixed doll clothes at a thrift store, and authenticated by a vintage Barbie expert at Gigi’s Dolls (www.gigisdolls.com).

Couch and dressmakers dummy not included!

Great vintage paint by number of rocky cliff with a lighthouse and seagull. Soothing colors and neutral frame will match any décor!

Condition: Good vibrant image. Has vertical fold through image, but no paint loss. Paint might be adhered in some areas to plexiglass, so should probably stay in frame. (Price includes frame.)

Vintage Revere Ware sugar and creamer set gleams like silver, but without the polishing! Super shiny outer surfaces contrast beautifully with brushed stainless steel interiors and neat black handle. Set includes a matching tray.

The marks on the bottom of the sugar and creamer read: STAINLESS 1801 REVERE WARE STEEL.

Sugar & Creamer bowls: diameter 4” x approximate height 2”
Tray: 10” x 5”

Condition: All pieces are in good used condition with minor surface imperfections. Tray has some scuffs in finish. No nicks or dings.

Mint condition mid-century modern gold-plated serving platter! Difficult to photograph, but looks amazing on dark surfaces.

Mottled white areas of designs have a slightly raised texture, which contrasts nicely with the sleek gold plating. Entire plate has a rosy/gold gradient coming in from the edges, more visible in the bottom view. No marks or signatures, but might have been designed by Georges Briard in the 1950s or 60s.

Condition: Truly mint condition. No visible scratches or imperfections in design.

Width at widest point of rim: 11 3/4”. Approximately 1 3/4" tall at highest point.
